WWE interested in former IMPACT World Champion Tessa Blanchard

Last week, IMPACT Wrestling severed ties with the then-IMPACT World Champion Tessa Blanchard. The Undeniable One hadn’t been on TV in quite some time and had reportedly refused to play ball.

Blanchard was set to defend her title in a five-way match at Slammiversary. The relationship between Blanchard and IMPACT fizzled after she refused to send in promos for the event.

With Blanchard out of IMPACT, there are quite a few companies that would love to have the 24-year-old. With her father working in AEW, some feel she could be making her way to Dynamite in the near future. That is if WWE is unable to bring her in.

According to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE has sent out feelers to Tessa Blanchard. She’s already worked with the company in the past, having competed in the Mae Young Classic and working a few matches in NXT.

Reportedly, she wasn’t signed back in 2017 due to “attitude problems.” Still, it’s clear that WWE has a money match on their hands if they can get Blanchard and Charlotte Flair together. Not to mention other Superstars like Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks, and Io Shirai.
