WWE keeping new NXT recruit a secret

Many new talents reported to the WWE Performance Center and WWE isn’t letting fans know about every performer who came to the Performance Center.

Kushida was a top star in NJPW and fans were shocked when they heard he was leaving NJPW to go to WWE. While he hasn’t made his desire to go to WWE a secret, WWE thinks differently.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter notes that Kushida is at the WWE Performance Center, but he wasn’t announced as part of the February class of 2019. They are keeping him a secret for as long as possible.

Perhaps we might be seeing Kushida in the front row seat during the next NXT TakeOver, as is usually the case with the latest NXT signees. We will have to wait and see what WWE has in store for him.
