Jerry Lawler is a WWE Hall of Famer. He continues to be featured on WWE programming. The legend had a cardiac arrest in 2012. He teamed up with Randy Orton to take on Dolph Ziggler and CM Punk. Lawler says that the 10 hits to his chest by Ziggler caused the impact to take place. It resulted in his cardiac arrest. He was annoyed that the Show Off didn’t know how to keep things in order and did the attack at the wrong place.
Lawler is famous for his infamous commentary style. He is also known for his wrestling during the early days when the likes of Hulk Hogan and others were a part of the wrestling circuit. Jerry praised Baron Corbin for his return with the WWE Hall of Famer JBL. John Bradshaw Layfield is a legend in the business and knows how to make things better for any wrestler. He was on WWE Raw Talk last night and had this to say for Dolph Ziggler:
Can I say one more thing really quickly? I was so glad to see what happened to Dolph Ziggler. A lot of people don’t realize this. I’ve tried to tell it, but a lot of people don’t know ten years ago, Dolph Ziggler is the guy that caused me to have a cardiac arrest. His blunt trauma to my chest during the match that we had, me and Randy Orton against Dolph Ziggler and CM Punk, he gave me 10 elbows to my chest and that trauma caused my heart to stop. He’s a killer and he needs to get some — I was so glad to see [Baron Corbin] do what he did tonight to that idiot Dolph Ziggler. It was so great.
You know what, I don’t know if I blame him, but I think that what we did and what happened in that match, those 10 elbows he gave me – I think that was the cause.
You know why they call Oklahoma the heartland of America? Because the brain is not there. And for JBL to has to make his return debut in Oklahoma, I’m sure that was embarrassing for him. But what what a talker JBL is, I mean, did you hear him spew out the fantastic terms and telling the world how great Baron Corbin is going to be. He is a master. JBL is just the best. Baron Corbin could not have hooked himself to be a brighter star than JBL this is going to be something to watch for a long time.
Baron Corbin is now a part of Raw as part of the trade with SmackDown for Rey Mysterio. Jerry still keeps a grudge against Dolph Ziggler for hitting him the wrong way in 2012 which led to his cardiac arrest. While he is safe and sound now, notably Lawler has some bad words for the former United States Champion. It’s interesting to see how people can hold on to a negative aspect of life and call it their own when they can let it go and make it worth the time.
