There has been several speculations over the sale of WWE after many expected names popped up in the list of the latest talents cut. It got the fans wondering that Vince McMahon might be on the verge of putting up the multi billion company on sale.
The stars who were released today were Braun Strowman, Aleister Black, Lana, Murphy, Ruby Riott and Santana Garrett.
WWE to get sold to Disney?
Dutch Mantell, formerly known as Zeb Colter had opened up last year about a potential sale of WWE to Disney. It was considered a rumor which was fueled online. He took to his Twitter account and addressed the situation. WWE Raw Stars ‘Wanted’ To Get Released?
He said:
“I reported last year that @WWE was in the process of being sold to Disney. Most people responded STFU. But lately, it appears that something is happening and it could be true. Do you think Vince might be selling? @SKWrestling_ @RickUcchino”

However, once again the rumors have gained attention and just by the looks of the situation around, there could be a possibility the company could be on a sale soon.
It is not certain that it could be sold to Disney. Another name company which has come up is NBCUniversal. We will see what future holds for the company.
