WWE Hall Of Famer “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan is universally loved by fans for entertaining them throughout the years.
While speaking to Wrestling Inc, the WWE Hall Of Famer revealed that his South Carolina home was broken into on December 8 at around 6:45 pm. A man in his mid-20s pounded on the door before he came through the front door, but the wrestling legend tackled him to the ground. Jim Duggan grabbed his .44 caliber pistol to hold the intruder at gunpoint until the police arrived.
Jim and his wife Debra described the introducer as “hysterically frightened” who had claimed that people from a nearby home were coming after him to kill him. The intruder was fleeing individuals related to a burglary in a different home, leading him to seek refuge.
Duggan said he would not be pressing charges and added, “thank God we didn’t shoot him.” He also had issues with his heart over the past few years but thankfully, he has pulled through and is in much better health now, which has certainly relieved fans by a large margin.
