WWE Legend Was Slapped By Wife At Bar

WWE Hall of Famer Teddy Long gave fans a memorable tale involving the notorious wrestler Barbarian and a wild night at a bar. Known for his stints in WWE, both as part of The Power of Pain and The New Headshrinkers, Barbarian’s larger-than-life persona extended beyond the squared circle.

During an episode of Sportskeeda Wrestling’s The Wrestling Time Machine, Teddy Long delved into the past to share a humorous incident involving Barbarian. Long reminisced about a time when they visited a local establishment, where Barbarian’s exuberance got the better of him, leading to a series of events that left everyone stunned.

According to Long, as the evening progressed, Barbarian became increasingly intoxicated, causing the bar management to refuse him further service. This decision did not sit well with the strong and hot-tempered wrestler. The situation quickly escalated, prompting the bar staff to contact the police in a bid to regain control of the chaotic scene.

To prevent anyone from entering or leaving, the bar management locked the glass doors. However, fueled by a mix of frustration and raw strength, Barbarian took matters into his own hands. Without hesitation, he forcefully tore the locked doors apart, much to the astonishment of those present.

Amidst the commotion, Barbarian’s wife arrived on the scene, adding a surprising twist to the unfolding saga. Taking charge of the situation, she approached her husband and delivered a resounding slap, asserting her authority and demanding his immediate departure from the venue.

As the tale continued, Teddy Long revealed another unexpected encounter. Just as Barbarian was about to leave, the elevator doors opened, and wrestling personality Jimmy Boogie Woogie Man emerged. Seizing the opportunity, Barbarian swiftly grabbed him and propelled him back into the elevator, leaving onlookers bewildered.

Outside the bar, the police strategized their next move, well-prepared for Barbarian’s formidable strength. However, the situation took an unexpected turn when his wife intervened, admonishing him with a stern voice and a swift slap. She took control of the situation, leading Barbarian away from the scene and bringing an end to the evening’s tumultuous events.

Everybody’s at the bar, drinking there, and I think the bartender, they wanted to cut Barbarian off, didn’t wanna give him no more alcohol. He got pretty hot about that… So they called the police and locked these two glass doors so nobody could get in and get out. So Barb, he just went right over to those glass doors, and he just grabbed both of them… and he tore them both open with his own strength,” said Teddy Long. Teddy Long disclosed that things finally calmed down when Barbarian’s wife showed up, struck him with a slap, and took him home.

“He pulled them over, he came right back in, and when the elevator door opens, there’s Jimmy Boogie Woogie Man. He steps out, and Barbarian grabs him and throws him right back up in the elevator. There were police out there figuring out what to do with Barbarian. They got everything in the world; they were ready for him… His wife stepped in from somewhere; she came and looked at him and yelled, ‘Barb!’ and she just slapped him and told him, ‘Come on here.’ She took him right out of there,” added Teddy Long.
