WWE is looking to make changes to the Slammy Awards concept. One of the problems with the concept is how similar some of the awards were between This is Awesome Moment of the Year, OMG Shocking Moment of the Year, Extreme Moment of the Year, LOL Moment of the Year and Tell Me You Didn’t Just Say That Moment of the Year.
There were some proposals made for future Slammy Award shows. One of the proposals includes doing the voting ahead of time so they can figure out who the winners are ahead of time and they can arrange to have the winners on RAW ahead of time.
If the talent is unable to appear live, then they can camera crew and do a pre-taped interview to accept the award. The second proposal was to move the Slammys show to WrestleMania week since everyone will already be in town.
