WWE has been planning to bring celebrities for the upcoming SummerSlam pay-per-view. FightfulSelect.com reported that WWE has had “terrible luck” when it comes to bringing a celebrity to The Biggest Party of The Summer’.
WWE SummerSlam will not see any celebrity?
As far back as the spring, Fightful reported that WWE had hoped that Cardi B would host or be involved with Summerslam, even using one of her songs as the theme for the show. However, her pregnancy effectively put an end to that, according to WWE sources. In addition to that, Fightful also learned that Megan Thee Stallion was also planned for a spot involving Bianca Belair for Summerslam. However, WWE sources indicated they WWE thought it was a done deal, but were informed last weekend it wouldn’t be happening. We weren’t given a reason why, and we’ve reached out to Megan Thee Stallion for comment.”
