WWE Lose Star At WrestleMania After Criminal Accusation

WrestleMania is coming up in a few months, and WWE is going all out to make it one of the biggest shows of all time. The company allegedly wanted to bring back former two-time boxing world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury. He has been ‘banned’ from returning to the United States.

Tyson Fury was last seen earlier this year at Clash at the Castle in Wales, UK. During the match between Drew McIntyre and Roman Reigns, he prevented Austin Theory from cashing in the MITB contract. He also entered the ring after McIntyre was defeated by The Tribal Chief and sang songs with The Scottish Warrior to close out the show.

WWE wanted to bring The Gypsy King back for Royal Rumble and ‘Mania next year, according to The US Sun (via Cagesideseats). However, he is allegedly barred from entering the United States because of his ties to the Irish Mafia.

The US Sun claims WWE had planned to have Tyson Fury work both Royal Rumble andWrestleMania 39 next year but that’s looking less likely as he’s apparently banned from entering the U.S. due to links to alleged Irish mob boss Daniel Kinahan emerged.

According to reports, many major names, including celebrities, are expected to return for WrestleMania 39. Fury’s most recent WWE match was against Braun Strowman at Crown Jewel in 2019. Though his return appears unlikely given the travel constraints he is subjected to, the situation may be resolved by the time The Show of Shows arrives.

Other notable returns that could occur include The Rock, Logan Paul, John Cena, and Stone Cold. According to a report, because Mania will be held in Hollywood, Triple H wants a large number of movie stars and other prominent celebrities to participate.
