WWE Losing Ex-Champion After Extreme Rules

Daniel Cormier is a UFC Hall of Famer. He officiates the Fight Pit match between Seth Rollins and Matt Riddle on Saturday at Extreme Rules. The UFC fighter appeared on WWE’s Monday Night Raw and asked the match participants to focus on the match instead of anything else.

It’s interesting to note through Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Cormier is not signed to any other match with the WWE following Saturday’s bout in Philadelphia. Brock Lesnar is one name that Cormier had an issue with, and the two have not settled their beef between the ropes.

Lesnar has retired from the Octagon, so a match between Cormier and Lesnar can happen only between the squared circle. The upcoming Crown Jewel event on November 5th in Saudi Arabia can be the perfect place for it, provided Cormier gets taken down by Lesnar after the Fight Pit match.

It would entice the fans to watch the Saudi Arabia show. With so many things in order, anyone can do the math on the intensity of the match. The two are wrestling powerhouses, and their fight will only excite fans for something exemplary between the ropes at a Special event.

WWE knows how to fuel a feud and this one has headliner written all over it. The feud can supersede Roman Reigns vs Logan Paul as the main event of the show. It has the power to be the biggest box office attraction. Will that be the plan of the WWE heading into the show?

What do you think of this situation? Sound off in the comments.
