According to a report by Business Wire, Scott+Scott Attorney’s at Law LLP “is investigating whether certain directors and officers of World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. breached their fiduciary duties to WWE and its shareholders.”
The firm is currently investigating whether members of WWE’s board and senior management “failed to manage WWE in an acceptable manner, in breach of their fiduciary duties to WWE, and whether WWE and its shareholders have suffered damages as a result.”
This is in addition to Vince McMahon already being investigated for allegedly paying $3 million in hush money after having an affair with a former WWE paralegal. Earlier today, it was announced that McMahon has temporarily stepped down as Chairman & CEO of the organization, with his daughter, Stephanie McMahon, taking up the reigns until the investigation has ended.
In other news, Triple H is currently the COO of WWE and he is also a veteran in the world of professional wrestling and sports entertainment, having competed in several great matches and countless memorable moments during his time as an active in-ring competitor in the company. ‘The Game’ would in addition go on to win countless championships during his time as an active competitor in the WWE including a multi-time WWE Champion and WWE World Heavyweight Champion.Triple H’s offer to buy a pro wrestling company was also previously revealed.
