WWE Losing Top Star At Money in the Bank?

Kevin Owens has trying to prove that Ezekiel and Elias are the same person. While he has been failing to prove it, he also failed to turn up at the latest edition of Monday Night RAW.

Kevin Owens’ match was pushed back

KO was set to face Ezekiel (or Elias or Elrod) on last night’s episode of Monday Night Raw with the final spot in Saturday’s Money in the Bank ladder match on the line. Unfortunately, the match had to be pushed back. Kevin Owens was unable to be in Laredo, Texas for the show.

Not much has been noted regarding the reason for Kevin Owens’s absence from Raw this week. Owens himself tweeted that he simply didn’t want to be in Texas. Another report noted that whatever it was, the issue was minor. It’s unsure if he’ll be ready for Money in the Bank.

Owens’ match with Ezekiel could be pushed to Friday’s episode of SmackDown. It all depends on whether KO is ready to go. Dave Meltzer talked about the situation on the latest Wrestling Observer Radio:

“I did not check if Kevin Owens would be ready by Friday. I just know that he was not ready tonight, but it’s nothing serious, is what I was told. So, perhaps, he could be ready by Friday and they could do that match…

Kevin Owens is a guy that you kind of want in that match, you know because he’s really good at working with ladders and things like that. He’s got a lot of experience and he’s got a very high willingness to do crazy stuff. So, maybe the idea was for him to go in. I don’t know that he necessarily was going to win.”

Bryan Alvarez speculated that the battle royal qualifier was originally planned for SmackDown but was moved to RAW. Now it is believed that Owens vs Ezekiel might take place on SmackDown.
