WWE Lying About Brock Lesnar Disappearance?

Several fans would simply agree that Brock Lesnar is one of the most dominant pro wrestlers to have ever stepped foot inside the squared circle. He had two terrific runs in WWE, both of which saw him winning major World Titles and being a huge draw for fans. Brock Lesnar was not seen on WWE television ever since he dropped the WWE Championship to Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 36 back in 2020. Brock Lesnar was also previously called out by a Superstar from Monday Night RAW.

After being away from WWE television for over a year, Brock Lesnar made his return at WWE SummerSlam in 2021, immediately setting his sights set on Roman Reigns. He also sported a ponytail, which was completely different from what fans were used to seeing him in.

Lesnar won the WWE Championship after defeating Big E, Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins, and Bobby Lashley in a Fatal Five-Way match at WWE Day 1. However, he would lose the title to Bobby Lashley last month after Roman Reigns interfered in the match thanks to Paul Heyman turning on The Beast Incarnate.

Lesnar then won the Men’s Royal Rumble match and went on to choose Roman Reigns as his opponent for WrestleMania. He then won the WWE Championship in the WWE Title Elimination Chamber match in Saudi Arabia on February 19th.

He then squared off against Roman Reigns in a title vs title winner-take-all match at WrestleMania 38. He lost to The Tribal Chief as well. He was removed from the promotion for the WrestleMania Backlash event.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer noted that there were never plans for Brock Lesnar to have a match at WrestleMania Backlash at all. He is still set to appear during the Money In The Bank Premium Live Event later this year and also advertised for SummerSlam.
