– Tonight’s WWE Main Event opens up with Tom Phillips welcoming us.
– We go right to the ring where Paul Heyman introduces himself and Cesaro. Cesaro is wearing an eye patch. Heyman says Kofi Kingston intentionally blinded his client last night so there won’t be a match tonight. We see replays from RAW. Heyman goes on until Dolph Ziggler comes out with a mic. He knocks Cesaro and Heyman until the music hits and out comes Big E to interrupt.
Big E cuts another preacher promo about the Intercontinental Title. He’s interrupted by Ryback and Curtis Axel, which then brings out Rob Van Dam. Ryback ends up tossed from the ring.
– The Wyatt Family graphic flashes and we see Erick Rowan and Luke Harper. They’re in action next. Back to commercial.
– We come back and Big E, Ziggler and RVD vs. Axel, Ryback and Cesaro is announced for tonight.
– We get a look back at Chris Jericho and The Miz returning.
Erick Rowan and Luke Harper vs. Xavier Woods and R-Truth
Rowan and Harper make their way out as Truth and Woods wait. Rowan and Harper dominate the match. Rowan gets the win on Woods.

– We get a look back at AJ Lee’s return on RAW.
Nikki Bella and Alicia Fox vs. Cameron and Naomi
Nikki Bella comes out for a rematch from RAW. Stephanie McMahon appears on the big screen and says she’s assigned Nikki a tag partner for this match. Out comes Alicia Fox.
Cameron and Naomi start things out. Cameron takes control and Alicia begs for a tag. Nikki finally drops Cameron and goes for a tag but Alicia leaves her hanging. Alicia hits her own partner and Cameron covers for the easy win.
Winners: Cameron and Naomi
– Renee Young is backstage with Sheamus. She asks about his challenge on SmackDown and Alberto Del Rio interrupts. Del Rio says he’s going to win the Intercontinental Title at Battleground and win the United States Title from Sheamus on SmackDown.

Rob Van Dam, Dolph Ziggler and Big E vs. Cesaro, Curtis Axel and Ryback
Cesaro is out last. It’s going to be Ryback and Big E starting off. Ryback strikes first but Big E runs over him. They run the ropes and Big E nails a big shoulder. Ryback runs into a big belly to belly suplex. Axel tags in but Big E pulls him over the top rope and goes to work on him.
Cesaro gets brought in next. Ziggler tags in and Cesaro goes to work on him. Cesaro ends up retreating to the floor and Axel comes in. RVD also tags in and goes at it with Axel. RVD drops him with a kick to the head and nails Rolling Thunder. Ziggler dropkicks Cesaro out of the ring. The babyfaces clear the ring as we go to commercials.
Back from the break and RVD goes at it with Axel. Axel takes him to the corner and tags in Ryback for some double teaming. Ryback beats down RVD now. Ryback runs into a big dropkick. RVD with offense in the corner now. Ziggler finally gets a tag and cleans house. He nails a Fame-asser on Cesaro for a 2 count. More back and forth with Cesaro. Ziggler nails a big DDT for another close 2 count as Axel breaks it. Big E takes out Ryback. Ryback takes out Big E. RVD sends Ryback to the floor. RVD goes to the top but Cesaro shoves him off onto everyone else on the floor. Ziggler nails a Zig Zag on Cesaro from behind for the win.
Winners: Dolph Ziggler, RVD and Big E
– After the match, Ziggler celebrates with RVD and Big E as a referee checks on Cesaro. The babyfaces pose in the middle of the ring as we go to replays.
