WWE is set to celebrate The Rock’s debut anniversary
The celebration begins on Tuesday with The Best of the Rock being uploaded to the network. WWE was reportedly hopeful that The Rock would be at Survivor Series 2021, but he will be in Australia filming “Young Rock” at the time.It is unknown when The Rock will return to WWE television. WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns had teased the possibility of facing The Rock at WrestleMania in Dallas or Los Angeles.
Roman Reigns believes WrestleMania 39 in Hollywood would be the place to do it:
“We’ll go to Hollywood for [WrestleMania] 39, and I think it just makes sense,” Reigns said to Fox Sports 1. “He’s the biggest box office attraction for the big screen. So, to be able to take that and match it up with the biggest box office attraction in sports entertainment, I think some magic would be made.”
