WWE Mass Firing Bombshell Revealed

Back in 2021 and into 2022 the WWE released a staggering amount of members of its talent pool and employees as more than one hundred people would be released. This would also extend to not only superstars but those that would work in the office, coaches, and other members of staff. Former Undisputed champions such as Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman would be let go as well as top-level female stars including Toni Storm, Ember Moon, Mickie James, and others.
Furthermore, there were other several shocking names to be let go from WWE which would include former NXT Champions Keith Lee and Adam Cole. However, in a way, this is hardly anything new as WWE tends to make a habit to release superstars around the spring period.

Perhaps then it should come as no surprise to learn that certain WWE talent were concerned about potential April 15th superstar releases. According to Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp, one unnamed WWE higher-up proclaimed that they weren’t aware of any potential releases to take place on Friday despite the alleged concern.

Sapp would state the following on social media via Twitter: “I know a lot of people have been concerned about “WWE release day” today, including much of the talent. At least one higher up told me that they didn’t know of any releases set to happen today if you’d like to take their word for it.”

It should be noted that with Friday having officially come and gone, not a single WWE superstar or staff member has been released. However, we are of course still in the month of April and that is very much an infamous month for WWE releases. In any event, there are no planned or rumored releases in regards to WWE and anything else right now is purely speculative.
