WWE might be considering Canadian NXT brand

WWE has many talented performers from all over the globe and that includes Canada, where WWE has gotten quite a few excellent wrestlers. Now it seems that WWE might be interested in acquiring more talent from Canada.

As reported by the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, a WWE tryout will be taking place in Mississauga, Ontario. It is said that NXT might have a brand in Canada and they might have Santino Marella to help with that.

There is at least talk of establishing a new NXT Canada brand and Anthony Carelli’s name (Santino Marella) has been mentioned along with it.

WWE’s goal is for NXT to become a global brand for wrestling and so this certainly makes sense. Whether or not WWE will actually make a Canadian NXT brand, we will get to know in due time.
