Sasha Banks told WWE she wanted to quit at WrestleMania because she was against her and Bayley dropping their WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles and didn’t like their creative direction. So WWE decided to give her time off to think things through.
Brad Shepard reported on Oh, You Didn’t Know that WWE expects Sasha Banks to return in time for Money In The Bank. Though she won’t be returning to RAW after she’s back.
“Sasha is scheduled to return to SmackDown Live before Money In The Bank. Whether they have something for her or not is still not clear. If they don’t have something for her it’s still possible they could give her a bit more time to cool off.”
“I am told that Jason Jordan is working as a catalyst between her and the rest of WWE management. I’m also told she has too much beef to go back to RAW this soon.”
Bayley is also on Smackdown, so we could be seeing her and Sasha reunite as a tag team. This could happen, especially after Bayley failed to become the #1 Contender for Becky Lynch’s Smackdown Women’s Title.
