WWE might not make another all-female event this year

WWE made history last year with WWE Evolution, which was a huge success. However, it seems that there might not be a sequel to the event since Ronda Rousey vs Nikki Bella brought a lot of attention to WWE.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted the WWE doesn’t seem to be planning on making another Evolution event this year. This might be because the only reason the event happened was due to the star power of the main event and to counteract the Saudi controversy where women were not allowed to compete.

An interesting note when it comes to this year’s schedule with no Evolution PPV after what a success the first one was that WWE is not yet committed to doing an all-women’s show of that magnitude without Rousey, who at last word wasn’t booked past the Raw after Mania.

Perhaps WWE will change their mind in due time. After all, anything is possible in WWE. It would be a shame if they never did another event considering how good the original Evolution was.
