WWE Monday Night Raw Changing Timeslot?

This past week’s edition of WWE Monday Night Raw was surely one of the most memorable ones of the year as it featured not only the return of John Cena to the red brand but also featured the return of Keith Lee, a debuting Karrion Kross and Nikki A.S.H. shockingly being crowned as WWE Raw Women’s Champion after cashing in her WWE Money in the Bank briefcase. This top name was ‘buried’ on WWE Raw for a sad reason.

However, in a new and equally shocking turn of events it appears that WWE Monday Night Raw will be airing at a new time – at least temporarily for those on the west coast of the United States. According to Mat Men Pro Wrestling podcast’s Andrew Zarian and as confirmed by Ringside News, the USA Network plans on airing WWE Monday Night Raw earlier in the evening for those on the west coast due to the fact that the Olympic games are coming up.

“Hearing that USA Network will be airing RAW at the same time for both East and West Coast feeds. The reason has to do with Olympic Coverage.” As WWE Monday Night Raw airs on the east coast in the United States at 8 PM EST this means that fans on the western side of things can anticipate the show beginning at 5 PM PST. It is unclear how long WWE and the USA Network plan to keep this change.
