WWE Monday Night RAW Results – March 30, 2020
Show Opening
“What would Wrestlemania season be, without me?” AJ Styles says as a video clip plays following the WWE Forever opening sequence. A replay of Styles in the ring a few weeks ago on RAW calling The Undertaker out,”15 years ago, I may have been a little hesitant about calling The Undertaker out. But I don’t see this ‘mythical monster’ anymore, I don’t see this phenom anymore. What I DO see is a broken down old man named Mark Holloway!”
Styles goes on to give credit to ‘Takers wife Michelle McCool for the reason behind The Deadman entering the ring time after time getting hurt. Styles continues on stating ‘Taker is “a shell of his former self”. The video goes on to The Undertaker brutally beating Gallows and Anderson as they bring the signed contract from Styles for ‘Taker to sign.
Styles finishes stating, “Who is this man? I don’t want the Mark Holloway that’s posting selfies (shots are shown from ‘Takers Instagram/Twitter), I want the Undertaker of yester-year… that’s who I want. I’m going to bring back The Deadman in a match he would love to be in… A Graveyard Match.”
The video clip ends with Styles stating he will use the same plot that ‘Takers wife Michelle McCool picked out when she buried his career. The screen then fades to black.
The Deadman Speaks To Styles
We flash to The Undertaker standing alone, only darkness and smoke surrounding him as he begins, “AJ Styles. Or should I say, Alan Jones, I mean since we’re being real now. For such a small man, you have a really big mouth.” ‘Taker continues as he says he is unsure whether Styles has a “big set” or if he’s just that stupid, adding his mouth is writing checks that his a** can’t cash.
‘Taker then points out that Styles might’ve been trying to get under his skin, but he’s been called out by a lot worse from far better than Styles. ‘Taker admits Styles was right when he stated 10-15 years ago he wouldn’t have wanted to try him, adding Styles was content being a little fish in a big pond. ‘Taker then states Styles couldn’t hand with the big dogs as he begins to name off Stone Cold, The Rock, Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Kurt Angle, Mick Foley, Eddie Guerrero, Booker T… the best this business had to offer.
“You waited until they were all gone,” Undertaker continues, “except for me.” ‘Taker admits he has more matches behind him than infront of him, stating his foolish pride is making really bad decisions for Styles. Where he crossed the line, ‘Taker says when he mentioned her. Mocking Styles by saying she does “The Faith Breaker” aka “The Styles Clash” better than AJ does. No matter the reason, he’s going to pay the ultimate price for disrespecting ‘Taker’s wife.
He reminds that The Graveyard Match was Styles idea, adding Styles wants to be relevant and who better to make that happen than The Undertaker as he adds, “Try me, and I’ll make ya famous.” ‘Taker finishes stating Styles can bring Gallows and Anderson, then all three can feel the wrath, adding they will suffer and most importantly Styles will… Rest. In. Peace. “AJ Styles 1977-2020” appears on a tombstone behind ‘Taker as he looks away to the floor. The chiming of the gong plays as the screen goes black.
Tom Phillips and Byron Saxton Welcome Us To RAW
A picture shows of The Undertaker against AJ Styles for the upcoming pay-per-view event as Tom Phillips welcomes us to RAW as he reiterates the Boneyard Match at Wrestlemania, telling the WWE Universe to call their local cable company or satellite provider, adding all pay-per-views are available on the WWE Network.
We then flash to the Performance Center where Tom Phillips is standing beside Byron Saxton as they remind that this Wrestlemania is too big for just one night, and will start this Saturday, April 4th 2020 and continue Sunday, April 5th, 2020. Phillips adds that the ‘Taker and Styles match is not the only big match set for Wrestlemania.
They begin by stating that Champion Brock Lesnar will be at the Performance Center live tonight as will Drew McIntyre. Next they mention that Edge is there for RAW as well. The Street Profits take on the Monday Night Messiah Seth Rollins along with Andrade and Angel Garza. We then see a video from early in the day where Becky Lynch rolls up to the Performance Center in a decked out semi truck with ‘The Man’ in flames across the side.
They state that Lynch is here on RAW and coming up next, as we go to commercial break.
Becky Lynch In-Ring Promo
As we come back from commercial break, we see Becky Lynch as she is announced by Tom Phillips. Lynch steps out onto the stage in the Performance Center, holding her WWE Raw Women’s Championship belt above her head. Lynch stands at the top of the ramp as we go into a video clip from last week’s Monday Night RAW.
Phillips reminds WWE Universe fans that her opponent Shayna Baszler laid out her mission for Wrestlemania on last week’s Monday Night RAW where she is attacked from behind with a steel chair, Lynch walking out of the darkness as Baszler lays flat inside the empty ring in the Performance Center where she had been conducting an interview just moments before.
We then flash back to the Performance Center where Lynch is still standing at the top of the ramp, holding a microphone, her belt now laid across her shoulder as Lynch begins to speak. Lynch brings up last year’s Wrestlemania where she fought two champions in one match. Lynch reminds us that Charlotte Flair was the SmackDown Women’s Champion and Ronda Rousey was the RAW Women’s Champion, and Lynch was in a match against both of them.
Lynch admits that she made some mighty bold predictions for that match and talked a lot of smack in the process. The stakes couldn’t have been higher for Lynch, and she attacked the “two fools” every chance she got. Lynch then sends us to a video from last year’s Wrestlemania.
Replay of Wrestlemania 35 Main Event Women’s Three Way Match:
Ronda Rousey vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Becky LynchJoan Jett is shown singing “Bad Reputation” live from Wrestlemania. Ronda Rousey walks out in a Rowdy Piper-esque ring attire, she smiles at Jett, then with a serious look on her face struts down the ramp to the ring where her match is set to take place.
Out next is Charlotte Flair as she comes out in her queen’s robe and glides to the ring, joining Rousey in the ring. Last out is Becky Lynch. The Man makes her way down to the ring and enters the ring with the Raw Women’s Champion and the SmackDown Women’s Champion.
The match is officially announced as a “Winner Takes All Triple Threat Match”. The three stare each other down from their corners. The bell rings and the match begins. Enjoy the replay, we will return when we re-enter the Performance Center!
*I must admit, the Double Arm Bar by Ronda Rousey on Becky and Charlotte was pretty bada**. Then as Becky and Charlotte team up to take down Rousey, pretty cool. Then again in the finishing moments of the match when Becky and Ronda work together to slam Flair into a table was pretty awesome too.
I must admit the pin at the end of the match seemed a bit off (just my opinion!). Ronda hitting the Piper’s Pit, I thought she had the pin, and Lynch is announced as the Winner of both the SmackDown and Raw championships! (Ronda Rousey suffering her first pinfall loss to Lynch simultaneously)*
The WrestleMANia 35 Winner Becky Lynch In Performance Center
As the celebration of her victory finishes playing, we come back to Becky Lynch standing in the Performance Center once again. Lynch states this was the first time she watched that match back. Lynch states that a lot of people have tried to take the championship from her, stating Baszler thinks she can take it because of her “edge” as a killer.
Lynch admits she doesn’t know who she is without being the champ, but reminds Baszler that she knows about her demons too. Lynch says to Baszler that she can tell from last week that Lynch is starting to get to Baszler. Lynch states Baszler will come out fighting from emotion, hoping to do what her pal Rousey couldn’t do.
Lynch states IF Baszler beats her, she will finally be seen as the world class athlete that she is. For once, she will steal Ronda’s spotlight, instead of the other way around. OR if she loses, she will be put back into Ronda’s shadow. Lynch asks, “When you talk about one of us losing at Wrestlemania and being destroyed by it, which one of us do you mean exactly. Beca….”
Out of nowhere, Baszler attacks Lynch from behind, locking in a Headlock as Lynch struggles and gargles as she attempts to gasp a breath into her lungs. Baszler drags Lynch to the announcer’s table where she slams Lynch’s head off the table. Baszler states, “You tell everyone out there, when I say I can’t lose… this is what I mean!” Baszler then slams Lynch’s head into the announcer’s table as she swings Lynch by the legs.
Baszler with a crazed look in her eyes as Lynch whimpers and cries on the floor. Baszler holds the championship belt for a moment, then drops it on Lynch, staring at her as she catches her breath. We go to commercial break.
Announcer’s Table Discussion
As we come back from commercial break, Saxton and Phillips discuss the Aleister Black vs. Bobby Lashley match that is scheduled to take place at Wrestlemania this coming weekend. We then re-enter the Performance Center where Aleister Black’s music has sounded.
Aleister Black vs. Jason Cade
Aleister Black makes his way into the ring as he gets to the bottom of the ramp and enters the ring, flipping over the top rope and rolling into a sitting position in the center of the ring. Black’s opponent Jason Cade steps backwards across the ring into his corner behind Black. The referee signals for the bell. Bell rings and the match begins.
Cade makes a running charge out of his corner as the bell rings, full force towards Black who is still standing against the turnbuckle in his corner. Black side steps, Cade slamming into the turnbuckle. He goes after Black again, Black ducks then side steps, going for a leg sweep as Cade falls to the mat. Black sitting Indian style once again in the enter of the ring.
As Cade turns around, he sees Black sitting casually with his legs Indian style and Cade crawls backwards away from Black, asking the referee, “wh-what is he doing??” with confusion and fear in his voice. Again he points at Black and asks, “what is he doing?” Unsure, Cade tries to rush Black with a kick. Aleister finally returns a blow, hitting Black Mass on Cade who is instantly out.
Winner: Aleister Black
After the Match
As the referee finishes the three count, Black sits up and once again stares off into the distance as he sits next to Jason Cade’s unconscious body, Black sitting Indian style as we pan away from the ring.
Announcer’s Table
Byron Saxton and Tom Phillips make a quick note of Black’s ability to take down anyone no matter the size once he hits Black Mass on them. They then turn their attention to Wrestlemania this weekend where Seth Rollins will go head to head with Kevin Owens. Phillips takes us into last week’s episode of RAW where Rollins takes responsibility not only for the WWE Performance Center, but for everything Owens has.
We then go into a video clip of Rollins speaking to Owens ringside. Rollins paces around the ring, circling Owens who is standing in the center of the ring. Rollins reminds Owens of his Wrestlemania score card, then stating Owens track record for Wrestlemania is failure after failure. Rollins then adds that Owens cannot beat him on his worst day, adding Wrestlemania is never his worst day.
As the video ends, we are reminded that the 6-Man Tag-Team Match with Kevin Owens & The Street Profits vs. Seth Rollins & Andrade & Angel Garza is coming up after the commercial break.
6-Man Tag-Team Match
Kevin Owens & The Street Profits vs. Seth Rollins & Andrade & Angel GarzaAs we come back from commercial break, The Street Profits entrance music sounds in the Performance Center as Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins make their way down the ramp, dancing as they take their time heading into the ring, ready to “bring the smoke”. Out next is Kevin Owens. Owens music sounds as he enters the arena, making his way down the ramp to join his tag-team partners Angelo and Montez. As Owens enters the ring, he smiles and circles the ring with The Street Profits.
Out next is Angel Garza with Zelina Vega. Vega lifts the microphone and shares she has bad news to share. Andrade has suffered a medical injury to his ribs and will not be able to compete. Vega continues on to say she has connections within the wrestling community and as she brought in Garza, she has found a temporary replacement for Andrade. Vega states, “Allow me to introduce, the 22 year old sensation and the hottest free agent no more… Austin Theory!”
(Austin Theory takes the place of Andrade for Team Rollins) Austin Theory’s music sounds as Theory makes his way down the ramp with Garza and Vega. Before they can enter the ring, music sounds for Seth Rollins as Rollins slowly heads out. Owens signals for Rollins to come on down. Rollins smiles at Owens, then stands with Austin Theory and Angel Garza at ringside, all three making their way into the ring where Angelo, Montez, and Kevin are standing.
The referee signals for the bell, and the match begins. Kevin Owens begins, Rollins exits the ring, tagging in Theory, stating, “Show me what ya got kid!” as he claps. Owens levels Theory immediately, then shoving Theory into the corner where Montez and Angelo assist. Dawkins tags in and Ford shouts, “It’s Wrestlemania season, baby!” then flips over the top onto Garza and Theory. Ford growls and holds his hands up as claws as we go to commercial.
As we come back from commercial, we are just in time to see Angel Garza rip his ring attire pants off his body, then hitting a Clothesline on Ford. Theory is then tagged in and gets Ford in a Headlock, then hitting a Knee to the chest of Ford. A Dropkick by Theory followed by a cover on Ford, Ford kicks out. Theory with a big forearm shot on Ford.
Ford stretching towards his teammates, finally getting the tag to Dawkins. Dawkins lands a shot on Rollins and Garza. Dawkins over the top rope as Theory crawls back to his feet. Dawkins then levels Theory, at the same time Rollins levels Dawkins. Owens shouts to Rollins, Rollins smiling and waving at Owens. Dawkins unable to make the tag to Owens. Rollins tags in Theory.
Theory and Dawkins once again going at it in the ring. Theory keeping Dawkins on the mat, attempting to land a submission victory. Theory allows Garza to tag in. Garza almost dislocating Dawkins arm. Garza goes for a pin, Dawkins kicks out. Owens desperate to get in on this match so he can get at Rollins. Rollins in the ring, hits a cheap shot on Ford. Rollins with Sling Blade on Dawkins.
Rollins stares into the camera, then he slowly turns towards Owens. Rollins goes for Super-kick, Dawkins rolls towards Owens. Owens In!!! Rollins hits a tag to Garza before Owens can get to him. Owens attacks Garza inside the ring. Vega looking nervous. Cannonball by Owens, then going to the top hitting a Senton from the top. Owens goes for the cover, Theory breaks it up.
Ford once again in the ring on his knees shouting, “Wrestlemania!!!” as he slaps his chest. Ford flips over the top. Owens hits a Stunner on Garza for the three count!
Winner: Kevin Owens & The Street Profits
After the Match
Immediately after the match, Rollins out of nowhere lands a Stomp on Kevin Owens before Owens can even celebrate his victory. Rollins with a look of disgust as he exits the ring.

Phillips reminds us that Brock Lesnar is in the Performance Center, later tonight on RAW!
As we are going to break, we take a sneak peek of the new show premiering on Netflix next week, The Big Show Show! Looks to be a family comedy where Big Show is a retired wrestler and a parent. We then go to break.
As we come back from commercial break, we get a video clip from moments ago, when before the break Seth Rollins landed a cheap shot on Kevin Owens immediately after Owens took the victory with a pin fall on Angel Garza. We then go back to the ring inside the Performance Center.
Kevin Owens In-Ring Message For Seth Rollins
The video recap ends as we return to the Performance Center ring where Kevin Owens has managed himself to a sitting position against the ropes and has been given a microphone.
Owens begins, “Ya know, Seth, I think you just kicked some sense into me… no pun intended.” Owens adds he has been thinking a lot about what Rollins said to him last week. Owens states he knows Rollins is listening. Owens reiterates all that Rollins said last week, then adding he heard otherwise. The Performance Center was built despite Rollins, who was a nightmare to deal with. Nobody could stand him.
Owens then says Rollins has proved everyone right when they stated Rollins was an arrogant dips***. Owens continues on stating he is aware of his own past, adding he is not delusional, and that is the difference between him and Owens. Owens reminds Rollins of his Wrestlemania moments comment, adding Rollins said he was a “God” and that Owens was “just a disappointment” admitting that statement hurt Owens.
Owens continues on saying he may not have the same accolades when it comes to Wrestlemania moments, Owens himself <i>has</i> been Intercontinental Champion twice, United States Champion three times, he has been Universal Champion (in fact well before Rollins). Owens adds he’s man enough to admit he did not get those on his own. He had someone that had his back or was in his corner.
Owens points out so did Rollins, he never accomplished them on his own. Either backup or some back handed way of winning. Owens tells Rollins to be honest with himself. Owens then states Rollins was right, nothing that happened before WWE matters, nothing matters at that point. Owens states the only thing that matters is finally, he will go one on one with Rollins in the ring.
Owens ends his message to Rollins stating, “you are not a profit, you are not a messiah, you are not a god!” Owens finishes, “And when I beat you in the middle of this ring and i take my first Wrestlemania moment from YOU! Because I will be the one to burn. it. down. With that, Owens drops the mic, ending the segment.
The Wrestlemania match between Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins is highlighted as the poster for the match appears on the screen and fans are reminded of the ways they can view Wrestlemania this weekend.

A short video clip is shown of Edge’s return to Royal Rumble as the announcers state Edge is at the Performance Center this evening to discuss his match scheduled for Wrestlemania with former friend and tag-team partner Randy Orton. We go to commercial break.

As we come back from commercial break, the video clip airs from The 2020 Royal Rumble where Edge returned during the Rumble. The clip then shifts to Edge discussing the fact he has grit and came back to end his career on his own terms. Then to Orton’s welcome home to Edge right before he RKO’d Edge in the ring.
The video takes a turn, showing the shock of the fans as Orton continues to brutally attack Edge within inches of his ability to walk. Then Beth Phoenix speaking to Orton in the ring, ultimately Orton down talking Beth and RKOing her.
Edge Promo For Wrestlemania Bout With Orton
As the video package ends, we see Edge sitting alone, darkness surrounding him as he begins to speak. Edge begins, “Randy, you said Adam Copeland is a junky for Edge. Eh, you’re probably right.” Edge continues that it’s not an ego thing, he just loves the feeling that happens when his music sounds in an arena. The excitement. Edge admits he is part of the audience as they shout, because he was once them.
Edge points out that they’re all junkies for this sitting 11th row at age 13 at Wrestlemania watching Hulk Hogan vs. Ultimate Warrior, at that point he knew he was a junky for this. Edge continues on to say his and Orton’s definition of grit are two different things. Edge says Orton lives off his family’s name, coasting as he’s “ok with being ok”. But to Edge, grit is a type of man that will reach into that hole to pull someone out that probably doesn’t deserve it, grit is refusing to be in Evolution because you don’t want to be someone’s lackey, grit is trying to find a way back everyday for nine years…
Edge stops. Then continues on, “I was wrong. I said you were jealous of me. You’re not jealous of me, you are jealous of my passion.” Edge states you cannot fake passion, you either have it or you don’t. Edge says this is the best Randy Orton has ever been, last time Orton even scratched being this good, was nine years ago. Edge says he inspires passion in Orton and that scares Orton.
Edge asks Orton if he listens to those voices in his head, they told him to make a horrible mistake. Edge continues that Orton attacked Edge’s pack. Adding that Orton put his hands on Edge’s wife and uttered the names of Edge’s kids. Edge states Orton pulled him back in, and he accepted a Last Man Standing Match with Edge. “A man that will dive face first into a burning table with thumb tacks lodged into every part of my body, just to grab that torch that you took for granted!”
Edge shakes his head, “You dug yourself another hole, didn’t ya Randy?” Edge finishes, “This time, I’m not gonna pull you back out. This time, I’m gonna push you so far in, you’ll never get back out.” The segment ends.

Asuka vs. Kayden Carter
As we come back to WWE Monday Night RAW on the USA Network, Asuka is announced as half of the WWE Tag-Team Champions The Kabuki Warriors as her music plays her to the ring. Asuka wearing her entrance mask as she waves her arms around heading into the ring. As she climbs to the top turnbuckle, she removes the mask and then climbs down, strutting the ring and smiling.
Asuka lifts the mic to begin speaking, shouting into the mic and laughing. She says something about who will take her on now? Kayden Carter from NXT standing in the ring as Asuka speaks. As Asuka drops the mic, the bell rings and the match begins. Kayden with quick pin attempts early on in the match.
Asuka finally gets an Ankle Lock, finally hitting the Asuka Lock on Carter for the win.

After the Match
Immediately after the match, Asuka makes her way over to the announcer’s table and puts on a headset, speaking into the microphone in Japanese as the commentators discuss the unusual turn of events. Asuka shouts something then “Easy Peezy.”
Phillips then chimes in, announcing this weekend at Wrestlemania The Kabuki Warriors vs. Nikki Cross and Alexa Bliss. Then Phillips states Brock Lesnar will take on Drew McIntyre at Wrestlemania as well, adding Lesnar is at the Performance Center for tonight’s Monday Night RAW. With that we go to commercial once again.
Announcer’s Desk
As we come back from commercial, Byron Saxton and Tom Phillips are standing at the commentator’s area discussing Wrestlemania. Saxton reminds us of The Undertaker’s statements earlier in the evening in regards to the match up between himself and AJ Styles set for Wrestlemania.
Saxton notes that Styles doesn’t realize what he has gotten himself into. Phillips responds that Rhea Ripley may not know what she’s in for when it comes to her match with Charlotte Flair. Phillips sends us to a video clip from earlier in the day.
Video Clip
We see Rhea Ripley walking through the parking lot of the Performance Center with her gym back over her shoulder, Ripley walking happily smiling towards the door. Out of nowhere Charlotte Flair comes into the frame and shoves Ripley into a steel door on the building. Ripley on the ground, Flair states, “Hey Rookie? I’ll see you at Wrestlemania… Woooo!” Officials help Ripley to her feet, Ripley responds, “Yea, yea you will” Ripley still smiling as the segment ends.
Survivor Series 2019
Rey Mysterio vs Brock LesnarThe match up of Brock Lesnar vs. Rey Mysterio is replayed. Brock Lesnar ultimately defeating Mysterio with an F5 for the pin and win!
My favorite part was Dominick hitting a low blow on Lesnar, then hitting a Double 619 and Dominick hitting a Frog Splash and the Double Pin! That was awesome.
Announcer’s Desk
As the match ends, we go back to the announcer’s table. Byron Saxton states McIntyre may not realize how dominant Lesnar can be. As we come back from our final commercial break of the night for tonight’s WWE Monday Night RAW, we go to Brock Lesnar who is standing in the center of the ring in the empty Performance Center, Paul Heyman standing behind him with a microphone.
Heyman begins, “Ladies and Gentleman, my name is Paul Heyman and I am the advocate for your reigning, defending, undisputed, WWE Heavyweight Champion of the world, Brock Lesnar.” Heyman states he hates to be the one to pull back the curtain on WWE as he believes in the magic of wrestling. We embellish and we exaggerate and we promote to a global audience.
Heyman continues on stating, “this is the final segment of the final Monday Night Raw, before Wrestlemania. the most unique Wrestlemania of our lifetimes and not just because it’s too big for one night, we are all living through one of the most unique moments of all of our lifetimes, together.”
Heyman then goes on to state year in and year out, Brock Lesnar is the beast to slay. The one to beat on the single biggest show of the year. This year Drew McIntyre has stepped up, according to Heyman. Heyman then compares McIntyre’s “special-ness” to a guy on the street or a nobody that thinks they can walk in and do WWE.
Heyman then states other “special” people that went against Lesnar including The Rock, the immortal Hulk Hogan, Randy Couture, Shane Carwin, John Cena, The Undertaker, not just special, they were legends, they were icons. At the end of the day when they got in the ring with Brock Lesnar they weren’t so godd*** special!
Heyman then states they all had special moves, The Rock Bottom, The Tombstone, etc. The Claymore Kick is nothing more than that. Brock Lesnar will be here again next year with the same championship, and Heyman will tell the story of how McIntyre walked in special, and walked out just like every body else. Nothing more than Brock’s b****.
