Show Opening

WWE Forever… Welcome to Wrestling-Edge‘s LIVE Results for WWE Monday Night RAW airing live on the FOX Network tonight, June 29th, 2020.

Double Contract Signing In-Ring w/ Samoa Joe

WWE Monday Night Raw opened with “Da Boss” Sasha Banks and Bayley fighting with Asuka while Samoa Joe attempted to preside over their contract signing. Four refs ran out and separated the women.

Joe welcomed viewers to Raw and said the plan was to have a contract signing. Asuka and Banks started fighting again. Joe barked at the referees to pull them apart again. Dolph Ziggler’s awful entrance theme played and he headed to the ring for the double contract signing.

Ziggler introduced Drew McIntyre as the WWE Champion for just a few more weeks. The broadcast team of Tom Phillips and Byron Saxton checked in on commentary (Joe was still in the ring).

Ziggler tells Drew without Ziggler, Drew would be scratching a miserable existence somewhere. Ziggler then states he’s been in the ring for fifteen years taking on the biggest and the best in the WWE. Ziggler states he made McIntyre, and at Extreme Rules, he will end him.

“Always the bridesmaid, never the bride, eh Dolph?” McIntyre says. Then, McIntyre states that due to them “being family”… he’s going to allow Ziggler to pick the stipulations of their match. Ziggler begins to respond, when Asuka interrupts shouting.

Banks states she isn’t the same fighter that Asuka took on before, she’s the blueprint, the legit boss, and she isn’t just taking over both locker rooms, she’s taking over the whole damn company.

Dolph goes after McIntyre with a kick attempt, McIntyre side steps and is inches within hitting a Claymore on Ziggler. Bayley and Banks flee the ring as well as Dolph Ziggler, the three stand on the ramp as McIntyre and Asuka hold their belts high toward the three superstars on the ramp.
