WWE New Owner Replacing Vince McMahon After Raw?

WWE has been sold to UFC’s parent company, Endeavor. In a statement, Endeavor announced a “definitive agreement” that will see WWE come under the company’s ownership in an estimated $9.3 billion deal.

The deal will see Endeavor from a new publicly listed company, consisting of both WWE and UFC. Endeavor will hold a 51% controlling interest in the new company and existing WWE shareholders will hold a 49% interest in the new company.

Vince McMahon reportedly had a major influence on this week’s post-WrestleMania edition of Monday Night RAW, which saw changes made to it.

While Triple H remains to be the Chief Content Officer after WWE was sold to Endeavor, Vince McMahon will be involved in the creative aspect “on a higher level.” Despite McMahon himself stating that he won’t be “in the weeds” of WWE’s creative process, he was said to be very hands-on and “firmly back in charge” of the show’s production.

New owners wanted to monitor Vince McMahon

Xero News tweeted that WWE’s new owners wanted to monitor Vince McMahon running Raw, and will monitor Triple H running Raw.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer brought up this week’s episode of RAW. He said that Vince McMahon is back, and things are just as they were before. That means the show saw a lot of changes, even after they went live.

“It’s what it was, it will be what it was before. If people think it’s gonna be bad, then it’s gonna be bad. But, that’s just what way that it is. The TV show was changed when Vince got there, and it was changing as the show was going on, and that was tonight, and that will be what it is going forward.”
