We reported earlier that Hulk Hogan will be the official host of WWE’s Crown Jewel PPV this Friday. As a matter of fact, Hogan and fellow WWE Hall of Famer Jimmy Hart are currently in Saudi Arabia with the rest of the WWE crew. The news has been kept somewhat quiet by the company, along with their stance on performing in Saudi Arabia period.
However, according to the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the company wanted to announce the return of The Hulkster this past Monday on RAW. WWE had recently produced a commercial for the PPV that featured Hogan and announced him for the event.
The production crew expected the commercial to run on Monday night during RAW, but the company made the decision to quietly list Hogan’s name on the WWE website instead.
