Raquel Gonzalez faced off against Cora Jade on NXT 2.0 this week. They battled in a match that ended with Gonzalez shaking Cora Jade’s hand as she said, “let’s win this. This made it seem as if the two will team up for the Dusty Classic tag team tournament.
Before this, someone in the back had to smash the censor button three separate times to blackout the screen. This is because Raquel Gonzalez kept having issues wrestling in a top and she suffered wardrobe malfunctions.
Nothing NSFW was seen on live television as NXT 2.0 has a seven-second delay. Regardless, we hope it does not happen again.
In other news, anything is possible in the world of professional wrestling. That includes family members of pro wrestlers competing in promotions different from the ones they work for. Mandy Rose has also been having a great run in NXT so far. Mandy Rose also previously leaked a bad message from Randy Orton.
Mandy Rose used to be a couple with Dolph Ziggler on WWE television as part of a storyline in 2020. It ended after Mandy Rose turned on Ziggler at WrestleMania 36 to side with Otis. Mandy Rose would go on to win the NXT Women’s Championship at the Halloween Havoc event last year. Mandy Rose loves to show off her figure at every moment possible and she did it again as she took to her Instagram stories and uploaded a photo of herself holding the NXT Women’s Championship and wearing a swimsuit as she stated that she worked hard to invest in her body. She also posted a video doing pull-ups.
NXT 2.0’s next big event is the 2022 NXT Vengeance Day which will take place on February 15, 2022, at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. The current card boasts three major championship matches including Mandy Rose defending her NXT Women’s Championship against Kay Lee Ray, a NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship match between the current champions – Toxic Attraction (Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne) against Indi Hartwell and Persia Pirotta as well as a NXT North American Championship match with the champion – Carmello Hayes against Cameron Grimes.
