Show Opening

A video package airs highlighting all the action and the events leading up to the matches as 8:00 p.m. EST hits and the NXT WWE: The Great American Bash – Night Two begins!

In Arena

The camera pans the arena as we enter the arena. Once again, Mauro Ranallo  with Beth Phoenix on commentary as he announces that Dusty Rhodes invented the Great American Bash and under the black and gold banner, NXT WWE: The Great American Bash – Night Two welcomes us for tonight’s show!

Candice LeRae vs. Mia Yim

Out first is Candice LeRae for tonight’s first match of the evening! Yim already in the ring. The referee signals for the bell and our first match is underway! Mia Yim throws multiple items into the ring including trash cans, steel chairs, and kendo sticks!

LeRae knocks Yim across the back several times, finally Yim grabs it as LeRae goes for another strike. Yim wails on LeRae with the kendo stick, then shoving it into LeRae’s chest. Yim exits the ring and grabs a trash can lid, returning to the ring. Yim introduces a table into the mix from underneath the apron.

LeRae takes hold of a fire extinguisher and sprays Yim in the face! LeRae sends Yim face first into the ring post on the outside of the ring. Immediately after, LeRae then pulls Yim chest first into the post several times. The superstars end up by the food catering table, food flies everywhere! Yim hits a Dropkick on LeRae.

LeRae heads to the top turnbuckle. Yim meets LeRae on the top. Both superstars struggle for control. Finally, LeRae hits a Diving Swinging Neckbreaker onto the steel chairs for the three count!

After the Match

Both superstars are still laid out inside the ring as we head to highlights from the match!

Quick Announcement

We are informed that the Bronson Reed versus Tony Nese match is coming up next.

Picture in Picture

During the commercial break, we see Johnny Gargano coming down to the ring, checking on LeRae who is STILL laid out on the canvas. Gargano rolls LeRae to the apron and drapes her arm over his shoulder, helping her limp out of the ring.

LeRae holds her neck. Inside the ring, Yim is back to her feet, unassisted but stumbling. The crowd bangs on the plexiglas and shouts for Yim who sits down inside the ring in one of the steel chairs. Yim smiles as the crowd claps!

Bronson Reed vs. Tony Nese

As we return from commercial break, Bronson Reed’s music sounds in the arena as Reed makes his way to the stage. Reed quickly makes his way down the ramp and enters the ring, awaiting his opponent for the evening.

Out next is The Premier Athlete, Tony Nese who slowly walks to the stage, posing at the top of the ramp as he shows off his abs before making his way down the ramp and into the ring, joining Reed.

Nese with an early take down, then off the ropes, Reed stands tall like a brick wall, Nese falls to the canvas. Reed with a Huge Senton across the rib cage of Nese. The match then spills out onto the floor. Reed with several strikes on Nese before rolling Nese back into the ring.

Nese uses the apron to his advantage, then rains down with left hands on Reed as Reed rolls back into the ring! Nese with a few kicks to the knee of Reed. Reed fires back with a couple forearms. Reed uses his forehead, Nese returns with a headbutt to the chest of Reed as he rolls Reed into a craddle.

Reed kicks out. Basement Dropkick by Nese. Both men back up inside the ring. Nese tries to slow things down. Reed uses the top rope to knock Nese to the canvas. Two haymakers by Reed. A Splash onto Nese, then fires Nese into the opposing corner. Nese goes for a high flying move, Reed catches Nese midair.

A Neck Snap off the top rope onto Reed then heading up top, Nese gets a Splash onto Reed for a two count! Reed heads to the top with a Splash of his own for the three count!

Bronson Reed stands tall inside the ring as we go to highlights from the match!

Backstage – Robert Stone

Robert Stone says his brand is on fire as he speaks to Shotzi Blackheart. Stone tells Blackheart that he’s made Aliyah’s career take off and things are amazing right now as Aliyah and Mackenzie stand at his side. Blackheart states she rides alone as she sits in her mini tank.

Stone turns and gets attacked by Killian Dain who is angry! Stone’s leg gets run over by a tiny little tank by Blackheart as we head to commercial break!

Isaiah “Swerve” Scott vs. Johnny Gargano

As we return from commercial break, Isaiah “Swerve” Scott makes his way to the ring as his music sounds in the arena. Out next is Johnny Gargano, all heart… no soul. Gargano pauses at the bottom of the ramp at the “All American Bash” logo on the floor, then plays to the crowd.

Gargano finally enters the ring with Scott, circling the ring. The referee sends Scott to his corner, and Gargano to his. Referee signals for the bell, the bell rings, and the match begins! Gargano and Scott circle the ring, then meet in the center of the ring.

Gargano rolls Swerve for a pin attempt, Swerve kicks out at one. Gargano gets a “Johnny’s House” chant going by the crowd. A lot of grappling on the mat between the two superstars early on! Swerve turns things around and gets a “Johnny Sucks!” chant going and then a “Swerve! Swerve!” chant after that! Swerve takes the heat to Gargano, knocking him to the canvas. Gargano rolls out of the ring. The referee begins the count. We get to the count of seven as Gargano heads back for the ring and we head to commercial!

As we return from commercial break, Gargano lays out Swerve with a Lateral Press, once again only getting a one count. Gargano goes for a Suplex, Swerve reverses. Swerve heads to the top turnbuckle and nails Gargano right between the shoulder blades. Gargano rolls out of the ring.

Swerve heads to the outside and rolls Gargano back in, working the body of Gargano with strikes. Swerve then hits a Flatliner on Gargano and takes Gargano into a Back Press for a two count. Gargano struggles back to his feet, but then hits the Slingshot Spear on Swerve for a two count!

Gargano back to his feet, powers Swerve into the corner and hits a Chop to the chest of Swerve followed by multiple blows to the head. Brute strength as Swerve hits a massive body drop on Gargano. European Uppercut and back and forth strikes until a Step Up Enzuguri by Swerve and a House Call by Gargano.

Gargano locks in the JML Face Lock, Swerve counters getting a cover for the 2 1/2. Float Over by Gargano, Swerve has Gargano upside down, Gargano holding the ropes, Swerve gets a two count. Swerve looks shocked. Swerve heads up top, Gargano rolls out to the apron. A massive kick to the face of Gargano on the apron from Swerve on the top turnbuckle.

Gargano falls to the outside, Swerve attempts a Double Foot Stomp. Gargano side steps and takes a page out of LeRae’s book with a flip. Gargano hits the One Final Beat DDT on Swerve as the two re-enter the ring for the three count!

Winner: Johnny Gargano

After the Match

Gargano clearly in pain, Swerve is seen crying on the mat opening and closing his fingers checking his reflexes and mobility it seems. We go to replays.

Video Package – Io Shirai

Io Shirai cuts a promo about Tegan Nox. Nox then responds saying she’s not “the Comeback Kid” she states she’s tired of the sympathy. Nox states she’s the number one contender and soon the NXT Champion. Shirai states she doesn’t need friends, the only person she relies on, is her. Nox points out Shirai had help from Asuka last week. Nox states she’s faster, stronger, and shinier than she’s ever been. Shirai states “Nox is no Io Shirai” and she will be waiting… Women’s Championship Match, next week!

Backstage

We head backstage where we see Keith Lee getting prepared for tonight’s match-up with Adam Cole.

6-Man Tag-Team Match
Legado Del Fantasma vs. Maverick & Breezango

Out first are Santos Escobar, Raul Mendoza, Joaquin Wilde who make up Legado Del Fantasma. The three superstars make their way down the ramp and enter the ring where they await their opponents. Out next are Drake Maverick and Breezango members Tyler Breeze and Fandango. Breezango come out in masks joking around. The three make their way to the ring.

Maverick declares he will start off tonight’s match-up for his side. Wilde states he will be in for his team. Maverick looks clearly upset, so Fandango heads in instead. The bell rings and the match begins. Lots of back and forth action to start things off in this six man match-up. A quick tag to Breeze who takes control in this match. Step Up Enziguri.

Wilde is back in the ring, going for the cover on Breeze. Wilde sends Breeze off the ropes then knocks him to the canvas for a cover. Breeze kicks out once again. Jawbreaker counter by Breeze then a tag. Fandango catches Mendoza, then the Falcon Arrow on Wilde.

Maverick enters the ring, but is thrown from the ring. Fandango over the top rope, looking to have taken a rough landing. Fandango sent knees first into the staircase. Maverick looking concerned. Fandango is rolled back into the ring, Wilde goes for the cover. Fandango unable to get back to his feet.

Escobar tags himself in. Fandango hits a few good strikes on Escobar, Maverick shouts to him for the tag. Escobar stretches Fandango with the Abdomenal Stretch. Fandango reaches towards his tag-team partners. Fandango counters, Escobar makes the tag to Mendoza. Mendoza takes boots to the injured knee of Fandango. Mendoza drags Fandango to the center of the ring, not allowing him to make the tag.

Fandango tries to build momentum, throwing strikes from his knees to Mendoza. Mendoza takes him back to the mat and drags him to the opposing side of the ring once again. Fandango sends Mendoza head over heels out of the ring. Fandango then blasts Mendoza into the barricade with a kick. Mendoza struggles across the ring trying to get the tag. Maverick makes the tag! Maverick and Escobar are both in! Maverick comes in with an explosion! Bulldog by Maverick. All six men enter the ring! Maverick gets pinned by Escobar!

Winners: Legado Del Fantasma

Backstage Interview

Candice LeRae and Johnny Gargano are interviewed backstage, LeRae boasting about her win tonight. Both Garganos state they “don’t forget” and have a few wrongs that need made right. We head to commercial!

Santana Garrett vs. Mercedes Martinez

As we return from commercial break, Santana Garrett is out first as she makes her way down the ramp. Mercedes Martinez makes her way out next. The referee signals for the bell, the bell rings and the match begins. Martinez dominates the match and ultimately gets the three count pin and win!

Winner: Mercedes Martinez

A video package where Damian Priest states Cameron Grimes is a “little bitch” and will regret catching Priest’s attention.

More predictions for tonight’s Lee vs. Cole match-up. Mick Foley states Lee will either come out strong and win quickly, or Adam Cole will win. Shawn Michaels states Cole is the longest reigning NXT champion, and he has to go with Adam Cole, but part of him thinks otherwise (holding up an index card that says “Keith Lee”).

Coming up next is the Cole vs. Lee match, uninterrupted! We head to commercial break!

Champion vs. Champion “Winner Take All”
Keith Lee vs. Adam Cole

Out first is the NXT North American Champ, Keith Lee as his music sounds in the arena! Lee makes his way down the ramp and enters the ring. Holding his title belt high as he points his thumb to himself inside the center of the ring.

203 Days as the NXT Champion, Adam Cole stands tall at the top of the stage. Cole makes his way down the ramp towards his opponent this evening in this “winner takes all” match-up with Keith Lee. The match is officially announced, the bell rings and this main event, no interruptions match-up is underway!

Cole immediately heads in for a take-down attempt on Lee. Lee stands strong, finally lifting Cole who kicks and gets back on his feet, keeping the hold as Cole states, “you messed with the wrong guy!” Lee pulls Cole’s hands off of him and wipes his face.

Lee turns and twists the hand of Cole with a Crush Grip. Cole asks the referee to “get him off!” Lee finally lets go, Cole goes for a kick and Lee grabs the leg of Cole. Cole drops out of the ring. Lee looks into the camera and states, “Do you remember Johnny Gargano?”

Lee goes through the plexiglas, face first. Cole rolls in and breaks the count then goes after Lee on the outside of the ring. Cole slams Lee face first into the apron followed by a bicycle kick! Cole resets the count once again as the referee gets to six. Cole slams Lee off the stairs. Cole once again breaks the count and continues to dominate Lee on the outside of the ring.

Lee finally re-enters the ring. A picture in picture replay as Cole drops Lee to the canvas, mockingly asking if he can call him “champ”. Cole with a massive kick dropping Lee to his knees, hanging on the ropes. Cole drags Lee to the center of the ring and hits a Neckbreaker for the cover. Lee kicks out at one.

Cole continues to dominate the match with his legs wrapped around the neck of Lee, telling him to give up. Cole wipes his hands as he returns to his feet. Lee on his knees, Cole states, “you’re nothing”. Lee grabs the neck of Cole, Cole breaks the hold and lands a Neckbreaker and goes for the pin once again! Lee kicks out at two!

Cole sets up for the Last Shot, Lee rages out and goes after Cole, hitting a monster Power Slam for the two count! Lee states, “I must break him” with a smile. The crowd begins to chant, “Oh, bask in his glory!” once again. Cole counters and goes for the Lateral Press. Lee launches Cole off of him immediately. Cole on the apron, then heading to the top.

Lee knocks Cole down on the apron. Lee heads to the middle turnbuckle and hits a Superplex which he calls the “Struggle-plex” on Adam Cole. Lee goes for the pin, Cole kicks out at two! The crowd is going crazy now with stomps and shouting for Keith Lee! Cole knocks Lee down to one knee. Lee hits a Power Bomb on Cole.

Cole gets ONE finger on the bottom rope at the 2 count following Lee’s Spirit Bomb. The crowd begins to chant, “This is awesome!” Cole rolls out of the ring! Lee crawls over to the apron. Cole with a quick kick to the head of Lee. Cole re-enters the ring. Lee sends Cole to the canvas and then spikes him for the pin!

Lee shocked, but drags Cole to the ropes. Lee takes a breather as the crowd begins to chant, “Oh bask in his glory!” once again. Lee heads to the top, with a Moonsault by Lee! Cole kicks out at two! Pain on Adam Cole’s face, pure shock on Lee’s!

Superkick from Adam Cole, Lee building up, Last Shot by Adam Cole for the pin, Lee kicks out!! Cole looks stunned! The crowd going crazy!! Cole pulls himself up to a stand. The crowd chants, “Keith Lee! Keith Lee!” Cole back to his feet, Lee to one knee. Cole off the ropes, Lee turns Cole inside out! Rough landing for Adam Cole!

Lee back to his feet as Cole is on his knees in the corner of the ring. Cole with a Superkick, and another one! Lee drops onto his back. Cole with the cover, Lee kicks out at two!! Cole removes his knee brace, off the ropes, which means only one thing…

Cole demanding Lee get up, “the title is mine” Lee catches Cole mid-air and with a Power Slam to the canvas, gets the cover on Cole for the three count pin and win!

Winner and NEW NXT Champion as well as NXT North American Champion: KEITH LEE!

After the Match

Keith Lee is handed both championship belts as the referee holds Lee’s hand up in victory as we go to replays from the match! Red, white, and blue confetti rains on the new champ!
