WWE NXT Star ‘In Trouble’ With Shawn Michaels?

Drake Wuertz, who is currently a referee on the NXT brand. Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, wearing of masks has been made mandatory but Wuertz has a different opinion on the kids wearing masks.

 


 

Drake Wuertz speaks about wearing of masks at NXT TV event

Last week, Wuertz gave a speech during a County Commissioner’s meeting while backstage at the NXT TV event about mask mandates.

On Tuesday night, he attended a school board meeting for the Seminole County Public Schools. He debated that the board shouldn’t require kids to wear masks while in school.

He also claimed the Superintendent has allowed children to be “victims of a tyrannical overreach.” It is noted that the FDA recently approved Pfizer and BioNTech’s vaccines which are supposed to be given to children ages 12 to 15 on an emergency use basis.

He also noted how the safety of the kids should be the first priority than the safety of the teachers due to the virus. He brought up how wearing masks in school assists child traffickers.

Wuertz missed out on this week’s NXT TV event. The reason is still not clear. We will have to see when the referee would return.
