WWE offering NXT position to Matt Hardy

Matt Hardy

Matt Hardy’s current status with WWE has been a topic of discussion among wrestling fans in recent times and people have been debating whether or not he will leave the company once his contract expires.

Though losing Hardy in the current environment won’t be a good thing for WWE and it appears that the officials also realize this as they are making some very interesting offers to him to stay in the company.

Mike Johnson talked about Hardy’s status on the latest episode of PWinsider Audio and he revealed that there have been talks of Hardy possibly working in NXT:

“I know that WWE has made a lot of overtures to him in the last couple of weeks. There’s been some talk of him working in the NXT system somehow. My gut feeling is that Matt Hardy will probably stay.”

Matt Hardy’s current WWE contract is set to expire on March 1 and if he doesn’t re-sign with the company in next few days then he will become a free agent this Sunday.
