The news of Morrison signing a new contract with the promotion was first reported back in September but at the time, the wrestling star had denied the claims.
John Morrison started his wrestling career in WWE as a participant for Tough Enough III in 2002 and he stayed with the company until 2011. He has wrestled for promotions such as Lucha Underground and Impact Wrestling since leaving the company.
So far WWE has not confirmed which brand Morrison will be joining upon his return and they have not announced any official date for his comeback to the WWE programming either but we’ll keep you posted on the matter.
