WWE officials working on a Hulk Hogan return?

PWInsider has revealed that the WWE and Hulk Hogan are working on a way for him to return to the company. Talks began between the two parties a few weeks ago.

It’s unknown what exactly Hogan will do if he and WWE agree on a new deal. With Angle and Daniel Bryan supposedly leaving the GM roles after WrestleMania, he could be replacing one of them there. However, the WWE could also use him to help build up the talent in NXT.

WWE did respond to PWInsider’s report, stating that:

We have had discussions with Terry Bollea (aka Hulk Hogan) about how he can help others learn from his mistakes. However, he is not under any contract with WWE.

Hogan has been away from the wrestling scene since 2015 when he was fired after a sex tape leaked of the Hulkster in which he used racial slurs towards African-Americans. Hogan would sue Gawker who was responsible for the release of the tape, who had to pay Hogan $115 million dollars. However, the lawsuit bankrupted the company, and they settled on $31 million for Hogan.

Is it possible to see Hulk Hogan return to the WWE? It is possible. However, it’s important to note that it all depends on if the WWE Universe, and WWE’s sponsors, have forgiven him. WWE recently had to remove the Fabulous Moolah’s name from the Women’s Wrestlemania Battle Royal after Snickers forced their hand. So, in all honesty, his fate rests with the sponsors.

Would you like to see Hogan return? What role would you like to see him play?
