WWE officials working on a Hulk Hogan return?

Hulk Hogan

PWInsider has revealed that the WWE and Hulk Hogan are working on a way for him to return to the company. Talks began between the two parties a few weeks ago.

It’s unknown what exactly Hogan will do if he and WWE agree on a new deal. With Angle and Daniel Bryan supposedly leaving the GM roles after WrestleMania, he could be replacing one of them there. However, the WWE could also use him to help build up the talent in NXT.

WWE did respond to PWInsider’s report, stating that:

We have had discussions with Terry Bollea (aka Hulk Hogan) about how he can help others learn from his mistakes. However, he is not under any contract with WWE.

Hogan has been away from the wrestling scene since 2015 when he was fired after a sex tape leaked of the Hulkster in which he used racial slurs towards African-Americans. Hogan would sue Gawker who was responsible for the release of the tape, who had to pay Hogan $115 million dollars. However, the lawsuit bankrupted the company, and they settled on $31 million for Hogan.

Is it possible to see Hulk Hogan return to the WWE? It is possible. However, it’s important to note that it all depends on if the WWE Universe, and WWE’s sponsors, have forgiven him. WWE recently had to remove the Fabulous Moolah’s name from the Women’s Wrestlemania Battle Royal after Snickers forced their hand. So, in all honesty, his fate rests with the sponsors.

Would you like to see Hogan return? What role would you like to see him play?

“Everything bad that has happened to him is well deserved and I hope it continues.”

Funny enough, someone who says moralistic nonsense like that, well they are probably a smug jackass themselves. No one in their right mind would dispute that Hogan’s racist comments were unbecoming and unnecessary, but let’s be honest dude…anyone speaking that over the top, lile you are, is probably no better than those you rip on.

They might try Hulk Hogan out on NXT as I think William Regal might become the new GM of either Raw or Smackdown.

    Please No

Agreed. People don’t tolerate much these days. Just ask Donald Trump. People like Hogan are under a microscope and people love to remind them of their offenses.

Would I like to see him overcome mistakes and make a comeback to the company? Of course. Do I think society as a whole is ready to accept him back with the WWE without throwing a fit? Nope.
