“WWE has chosen to not exercise its option to renew ring announcer Justin Roberts’ contract. Effective immediately, Roberts is released from WWE.
WWE wishes him the best in all his future endeavors.”
It is a surprising move by WWE as Roberts was considered a real company man and a hard worker for the company. It could be that WWE just has a cheaper alternative in place ready to go.
