More WWE Performance Center members test positive for COVID-19

Following the latest round of COVID-19 testing in the WWE Performance Center, dozens of individual results have come back, confirming a positive reading.

Kayla Braxton, Renee Young and Adam Pearce have already confirmed positive Covid tests, though any other future announcements will most likely be heard directly from WWE as they have informed staff and talent to not release public statements, the announcement would be made through them.

Those currently employed by the WWE Performance Center (including, but not limited to; wrestlers, interviewers, announcers, ring crew, and backstage personnel alike) have been informed that the use of a face mask is now a necessity. There are no exceptions. Anyone not wearing one will be fined $500 for their first offense. It will double to $1000 for a second.

There was at least one woman in the crowd at NXT’s Great American Bash night one (taped and aired Weds., July 1) who appeared on camera several times with no face covering.

WWE has administered approx. 1500 tests and the plan is to continue testing everyone ahead of each round of tapings for the foreseeable future.
