The 2019 edition of the King Of The Ring is nearing its end and every match has been used well, pushing certain superstars.
On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer provided an explanation, where he said that despite losing his match this week on RAW, Cedric Alexander’s match against Baron Corbin was done in order to make him look like a star. Their objective was to get people behind Alexander.
So it seems that Cedric Alexander’s push is far from over. While losing to Corbin was not for the best, he had an injury in storyline. So we will get to know in due time what WWE has in store for him.
