With SummerSlam around the corner, WWE has many plans for the pay-per-view. However, one particular plan could see a major title changing hands.
Drew McIntyre is scheduled to defend his WWE Title against Randy Orton at the event. According to various reports, it has been suggested that the company has made an interesting decision regarding the finish of the match. Orton could be walking out the event as the WWE Champion.
It was said that if Orton does win the title, he will be doing so without the assistance of Ric Flair. Flair will not be returning to the company.
It is unknown what WWE will do at this point. Orton is currently a bigger star than McIntyre, so it is possible he will become the champion in order for them to set up big matches for television. We will have to see what will happen at SummerSlam.
