WWE Creative always looks to plan something that fans would like and it seems they are planning something interesting for the Royal Rumble.
On Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez discussed some creative scenarios WWE could be planning for the Royal Rumble. He gave a scenario that apparently has been pitched in WWE. It would see the two competitors remaining in the ring while the #30 entrant has not come out yet. The two competitors eliminate themselves and then number 30 saunters down to the ring and wins the match.
Alvarez said there is no confirmation whether they will go with this idea, but he has definitely been told that this idea has been thrown around.
It was also noted that when Daniel Bryan was not able to compete, some thought this idea would be good for him. That would have given him a Royal Rumble win and he would not have to take any bumps.
He said that Lana could definitely compete at WrestleMania, should they go with this idea.
