We are getting closer to WrestleMania and WWE had plans for Sasha Banks for the event. Apparently, owing to her injury, WWE might have cancelled plans for her.
Earlier reports suggested that WWE changed the planned Smackdown Women’s Title match. Now, according to a report by Alex McCarthy, Bayley vs Sasha Banks was the initial plan for WrestleMania, but it was changed.
Sasha V Bayley was an original plan, but I’m told Sasha’s injury caused them to change course.
Sasha Banks and Bayley have faced off against each other on numerous occasions over the years. Their bouts in NXT are especially loved by fans and wrestlers alike. However, it seems Banks will not be facing Bayley for the Smackdown Women’s Title at the show of shows.
We will have to see if WWE has any other plans for Banks.
