6. Samoa Joe

Last Week: Ranked #9 (+3)

It won’t be often that someone makes such a large leap up our Rankings based off a promo, but my lord what a segment Joe had to end Smackdown Live this week. The Samoan Submission Machine took his mind-games to the next level this week when he showed up at the WWE Champion’s house and threatened to harm Styles’s family. He even went so far as to show himself walking up onto AJ’s porch and ringing his doorbell before the segment and show ended with Styles being visibly terrified.

The couple times Samoa Joe has been given the opportunity to feud with the champ, whether it be Brock Lesnar back when he was on Raw or against Styles on SD Live now, he has killed it. He makes these feuds personal and entertaining in a way that is hardly done in WWE now-a-days. Usually, Joe infuriates his opponents with mind games, trying to get them so angry they are off their game and he can take advantage. However, this past Tuesday, Styles was fearful and terrified of what Joe may do to his family.

In my opinion, Samoa Joe is the best heel in the company and deserves to win that WWE Title at Super Show-Down. If The Destroyer does finally win the prize that has eluded him over the past few months, Samoa Joe will climb even further in our Rankings, possibly to even #1.
