WWE Promote Competing Company’s Champion

Long time WWE employee Mark Carrano became a huge topic of discussion last year after it was revealed that he was responsible for sending Mickie James back her wrestling gear in a trash bag. Mark Carrano was subsequently fired from his position as a result of his unprofessional and hurtful actions. Mickie James took to Twitter and revealed the entire ordeal as it sparked a lot of controversy on social media. WWE Superstar Lana also sent a bold message to Mickie James previously.

This week’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown featured a huge announcement as it was revealed that Impact Knockouts Champion Mickie James will be taking part in the Women’s Royal Rumble match this year. WWE also acknowledged she is the Impact Knockouts Champion, in a move that most definitely shocked fans all over the world as it marked the first time WWE acknowledged a title from the promotion.

James will put that title on the line against Deonna Purrazzo at the Hard to Kill pay-per-view before that as well. Other participants in the Royal Rumble will include the likes of WWE Hall Of Famer Lita, former WWE Superstar Summer Rae, Charlotte Flair, Nikki and Brie Bella and many others.

Mickie wrote on Instagram, “Y’all talk about doors like you’re doing big things…
