WWE has provided the latest medical update on Elias. The SmackDown Superstar was the victim of a hit-and-run incident, on last Friday’s show.
Shortly afterward, WWE confirmed that Elias was taken into a nearby medical facility. However, on the latest edition of The Bump, it was confirmed that he is no longer hospitalized.
WWE confirmed the news that Elias has been discharged from the hospital, via the following tweet:

Elias was scheduled to compete in the WWE Intercontinental Championship Tournament. But, the incident forced him to pull-out, as AJ Styles and Daniel Bryan made their way to the finals.
With Elias now released from the medical facility, the former 24/7 Champion will be looking for the man responsible.
The car which was found at the scene was registered under Jeff Hardy, who was also taken into custody. However, it was later made evident that it was Sheamus who had framed ‘The Enigmatic Charisma’.
With Elias now on his way back to SmackDown, it remains to be seen how things will unfold on the blue brand upon his return.
