WWE putting contingency plans in place for WrestleMania 36

While there is still uncertainty regarding the status of WrestleMania, at this point, WWE seems to be committed to move ahead with their plans for WrestleMania 36.

However, it appears that the officials are preparing for possible cancellation of the show from officials of Tampa City as the company is putting contingency plans in place.

The promotion recently released a statement on the matter and they confirmed that they are “putting contingency plans in place in the event that it is cancelled by government officials”:

“While we remain committed to hosting WrestleMania at Raymond James Stadium on Sunday, April 5, we are putting contingency plans in place in the event that it is cancelled by government officials, civil authorities and/or local venues. The health and safety of our fans, performers and employees are our top priorities and we are monitoring the situation closely with our partners and government officials in Tampa Bay,”
