WWE quietly rolls out free tier of WWE Network

WWE appears to have launched the much talked free tier to WWE Network quietly for the users.

A lot of users have noted that the home page of the on-demand service’s website now has several videos that can be viewed right away with no upfront costs.

Then there are carousels promoting the paid network content that is available to premium users and they bear a lock symbol, as an attraction for the users to sign up.

Though so far the free tier content does not appear to be exclusive and instead, it features things mostly taken from WWE’s YouTube channel such as highlights of their weekly television show, top ten videos and more.

There have previously been reports of the company working on a multi-level design for the WWE Network, with the increasing levels offering access to more content but currently, there is no word yet on if the company plans to introduce this change anytime soon.
