WWE Raw Champion ‘Removed’ From WrestleMania

WrestleMania 37 may have suffered a huge loss. As seen on an episode of Monday Night RAW last month, RAW Women’s Champion Asuka teamed up with Charlotte Flair and squared off against Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax. During the match, Asuka had one her of teeth broken after Shayna Baszler accidentally hit her face with a stiff kick. A Lita WrestleMania return rumor just leaked.

She has not been seen on WWE television since then and it seems the likelihood of her competing at WrestleMania 37 seems dubious. According to a report by Dave Meltzer, in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it is believed that the RAW Women’s Champion suffered a concussion and will be out of WrestleMania. As of right now, Asuka has not been medically cleared for in-ring competition.

Asuka is out with a concussion from the kick by Shayna Baszler. The problem with a concussion is that she could be fine next week or she could not be cleared for a long time and you never know.

This is certainly unfortunate news for The Empress Of Tomorrow if she ends up missing out on the Show of Shows. Charlotte Flair made it clear that she wants to challenge Asuka for the RAW Women’s Championship, but that might not be happening anymore. We will keep you updated on Asuka’s condition.
