WWE Botch Raw Women’s Title Finish In Video?

WWE Raw saw the Women’s Tag Team Tournament Final in the main event. The arena fans seemed disinterested in the match, and the outcome only added to the misery. The fans expected Iyo Sky and Dakota Kai to win the bout, but on the contrary, Raquel Rodriguez and Aliyah won the match and became the new Women’s Tag Team Champions. It all happened after Sasha Banks and Naomi walked out on WWE on the May 16th, 2022, episode of Monday Night Raw. There were speculations that Sasha and Naomi would return on Raw this week, but that didn’t happen.

Fans were annoyed as some thought the win was illegal, and many users didn’t accept the outcome. The fans had poor reactions to the bout on Twitter, with the legal woman in the match not being pinned, with fans speculating about a botch. While the match may not have appeased the fans, we can agree that Sky and Kai were not the contenders for the win as they have a bout at WWE’s UK show Clash at the Castle against Asuka, Alexa Bliss and the Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair.

The outrage was over that WWE or Triple H may be making his favourites win the matches and the titles. There’s no truth to it because talent is all that matters. It’s been a tendency of the WWE Universe where they oppose and show their disappointment in case the outcome of a match is not as per their expectations.

The match happened to perfection between the ropes, and it takes mere three seconds to be a winner or a loser in a fight. One must understand that win or loss is a part of the storyline, and there will be moments when the wrestlers you rooted for fall short. WWE Universe should also understand that this is scripted entertainment, and anything can change anytime.

Do you think that a negative approach to a scripted show is right on the part of the WWE Universe? Sound off in the comments.
