Welcome to the WWE Raw pre-show, and we are live on the WWE Network. Scott Stanford, Booker T, Corey Graves, and David Otunga hype what we will see tonight, which is the return of Brock Lesnar. There is a recap video of last week’s episode of Raw. The Rock’s segment with The New Day from last Monday is shown. The Big Show vs. Erick Rowan, as well as Dolph Ziggler vs. Kevin Owens, is announced for RAW.
Welcome to WWE Monday Night Raw. Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman open the show. Heyman introduces himself and Lesnar. Heyman said that he had a lot of busy to take care of tonight. He said that there was a conspiracy to take out Lesnar at the Royal Rumble, but that planned failed. Heyman said that Lesnar will get his revenge for the failed attempt. Heyman brought up Lesnar being featured in the main event of Fastlane. Heyman reminded us of the stipulation, which is the winner of that main event facing Triple H for the WWE Title at WrestleMania 32. Heyman promised that Lesnar would beat both Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose into suplex city. He promised that Lesnar with F-5 both Reigns and Ambrose then pin both men at the same time to go onto the main event of Mania and beat Triple H to become the new WWE Champion. Heyman said that Reigns already knows what it’s like to face Lesnar and Reigns needs to tell Ambrose what it’s like. Ambrose then interrupted by walking down to the ring. Ambrose and Lesnar had a face off. Ambrose asked Heyman who he was calling a nut job. Ambrose said that being in the presence of a beast is cosey. Ambrose said that he wasn’t crazy or stupid or scared of Lesnar. Ambrose said that he respects Lesnar and that he wants the WWE Title. Ambrose said he knew the beating he will receive from Reigns and Lesnar. Ambrose then begged Lesnar to take him to suplex city. Ambrose said that he is the Ironman of the WWE, and he will drag his broken body to Mania and beat Triple H. Ambrose then walked to the back. This led to Heyman and Lesnar also leaving.

Singles Match: Kalisto vs. Rusev.
They lock up, but Rusev shoved him down. Kalisto hit a series of kicks to Rusev to send him to the floor. Kalisto went for a dive, but ate a kick by Rusev.
-Commercial Break-
We’re back with Rusev having Kalisto in a bear hug. Rusev then hit a big power slam to Kalisto for a near fall. Kalisto with a back elbow and a kick. He then hit a DDT off the middle rope. Kalisto with a springboard dive then a corkscrew. He went for another one, but was caught, and Rusev slammed him down to the mat for 2. Rusev missed a spear and ate the post, which allowed Kalisto to roll him up for 2. Kalisto with a jawbreaker then a drop kick followed by a face plant. Rusev rolled to the floor but ate a baseball slide. Kalisto went for a dive, but was caught. Kalisto battled out and drop kicked Rusev into the steel steps. Kalisto hit a hurricanrana that sent Rusev into the barricade. Kalisto won the match by count out.
Winner: Kalisto.
-Commercial Break-
Stephanie McMahon is talking with Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose in her office. They see the title sitting on a table. She said that she is so happy that Reigns is not the champion anymore. Reigns told her that after Fastlane one of them will be #1 contender and they will be carrying the title. Stephanie pointed out that Lesnar could be #1 contender. Stephanie power will corrupt everyone. Reigns said that doesn’t work with them. Stephanie booked Reigns and Ambrose vs. The New Day in the main event.
Michael Cole recapped Nikki Bella’s surgery. Brie Bella cut a backstage promo about how doctors are confident that Nikki will be back competing. Charlotte walked up and said that she can’t imagine what it’s like to know that her career could be over. Charlotte said that she doesn’t have to apologize for hurting Nikki at Night of Champions and Hell in a Cell.
-Commercial Break-
Tag Team Match: The Usos vs. Curtis Axel and Adam Rose.
Axel and Jimmy start things off. Axel knocked him down and put the boots to him. Rose was tagged in and hit a knee drop off the top rope for 2. Moments later, Jimmy fought back and got the hot tag to Jey. This led to Jey super kicking Rose and knocking Axel down. The Usos hit a double superkick to Rose then Jey hit a splash off the top rope for the win.
Winners: The Usos.
-Commercial Break-
The Miz in the ring for Miz TV and hypes AJ Styles. This led to Styles walking down to the ring. Miz kept asking him questions and not letting Styles answers. Miz compared Styles to Daniel Bryan for being an indy darling who was a great wrestler. Miz said that Bryan is a small guy with a big heart. Miz said that Bryan didn’t do anything until he started managing Bryan. Miz said that this is WWE, and this company is a small fish in a big bound. Miz said that Styles will not last if he keeps listening to the fans. Styles then attacked Miz and Miz retreated to the back.

Singles Match: Brie Bella vs. Charlotte
They lock up, Brie Bella caught her with a series of kicks but missed the knee strike by the ropes. Back in the ring, Charlotte beat her down. Brie fought out of a headlock and hit a clothesline for a near fall on the champion. Brie with a backslides for 2. Brie followed up with a dropkick and a knee strike. Brie went to the top rope and jumped on Charlotte’s back. Ric Flair got on the apron while Charlotte broke out of the sleeper. Charlotte locked in the Figure Eight, but Brie countered and rolled up Charlotte for the win.
Winner: Brie Bella.

Singles Match: Big Show vs. Erick Rowan
They start brawling to begin the match. Rowan went for a suplex, but it was blocked and Big Show hit one of his own. Show hit a shoulder block then went for a chokeslam, but he stopped and knocked Strowman off the apron. Show hit Rowan with a chokeslam for the win.
Winner: Big Show.
Post-match, Strowman and Show had a staredown. The Wyatt Family attacked Show and beat him down in the ring. Strowman and Rowan power slammed Show on the steel steps to end the segment.

Singles Match: Titus O’Neil vs. Tyler Breeze
Breeze hit him with a series of kicks until he caught by Titus, who hit him with a power slam. Titus hit a splash in the corner. Breeze tripped him and attacked the left leg of Titus. Breeze blocked in a single-leg boston crab, but Titus got to the bottom rope. Titus hit a hip toss and a powerbomb for the win.
Winner: Titus.
Paul Heyman is shown talking with Brock Lesnar until Triple H walks into the room. Triple H told Heyman to leave the room. Triple H said he can’t believe Lesnar let Ambrose talk to him like he did earlier in the night. Triple H said it appears that things are getting soft in suplex city. Lesnar said that Triple H would find out at WrestleMania.

Singles Match: Dolph Ziggler vs. Kevin Owens
Owens landed a series of strikes then ate a drop kick. He rolled to the floor then sent Ziggler into the barricade.
-Commercial Break-
We’re back with Owens in control of Ziggler with a headlock. Ziggler fought out, but Owens reversed and sent Ziggler into the corner. Owens hit a back elbow for 2. Owens went for the powerbomb, but Ziggler reversed and sent Owens to the apron. Ziggler with a super kick that sent Owens to the floor. Back in the ring, Ziggler went for the Zig Zag, but it was blocked and Owens hit a superkick for 2. Owens went to the top rope, but Ziggler met him up there, but Ziggler knocked him down and hit the cannonball. Owens followed up with the powerbomb, but ziggler reversed and hit the Zig Zag for the win.
Winner: Ziggler.

Sasha Banks cut a promo in the ring about how it’s her time, and it’s on her terms. She said that she was tired of seeing other divas steal her spotlight. She said that no one would stop her from being Divas Champion. Banks said that said that Becky Lynch and Brie Bella might think their no.1 contender, but they’re not because they can’t hold a candle to her. Tamina and Naomi walk down to the ring. Banks said that she came her to be the best. Naomi said that they were out here to assure her that there are no hard feelings towards Banks. Naomi said that partnership doesn’t last forever. Naomi said that they came out here to congratulate her. Banks questioned if they had her back. Naomi said of course they do. Banks said that she still wants them to have united. They do a hand motion for unity.
Singles Match: Sasha Banks vs. Becky Lynch
After some mat wrestling, Lynch hit a hip toss and worked the left arm of Lynch. Banks fought back and hit a double knee drop in the corner. They exchange forearm shots then Banks hit an arm drag. Banks kicked Lynch out of the ring. Naomi and Tamina tried to attack Lynch, but Banks stopped them before doing so. This led to Tamina and Naomi attacking Banks.
Winner: Banks via DQ.
Post-match, Lynch made the save. Banks and Lynch cleared the ring of Naomi and Tamina to close the segment.
-Commercial Break-
Chris Jericho cuts a backstage promo about losing to AJ Styles last week on RAW. He said that Styles is the real deal and believes that Styles is a pit bull. Jericho said that he was very interested in seeing if AJ can beat The Miz on SmackDown.
R-Truth and Goldust are in the bathroom. Goldust wants to know if Truth would be his tag team partner. Truth said he doesn’t want to tag with Goldust because he is weird. Goldust mocked Truth’s last partner, little jimmy. Truth walked away with Goldust confused.
-Commercial Break-
The New Day cuts an in-ring promo about The Rock and how his language is not kid friendly. New Day said that they love kids but would fight them for love. New Day said tonight is about revenge as they battle Reigns and Ambrose.
Main Event: Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose vs. The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Big E).
Reigns and Kingston start things off. Reigns worked over the left of Kingston then tagged in Ambrose. Ambrose hit a slam then missed a chop in the corner. Ambrose no sold Kingston’s chops then landed several of his own. Ambrose with a slam then tagged in Reigns, who hit an elbow drop for 2. Kingston rolled out of the ring to regroup.
-Commercial Break-
We’re back with New Day in control of Reigns. Reigns fought back and tagged in Ambrose, who tossed Kingston into the barricade. Back in the ring, Ambrose sent Big E to the floor then hit an outside dive taking out Big E. Xavier Woods hit Ambrose with a drop kick when the referee wasn’t looking. Big E and Kingston beat down Ambrose in the ring with frequent tags. Ambrose hit Kingston with a dropkick and a slam to Big E that led to him getting the hot tag to Reigns. Reigns hit Kingston with a slam then a series of clothesline. Ambrose then was tagged in and took out Woods at ringside with a clothesline. Kingston hit Ambrose with a baseball slide. Reigns took out Kingston with a clothesline. Big E hit Reigns with a suplex onto the announce table. Big E tossed Ambrose into the ring and went for his finisher. Ambrose blocked and hit Dirty Deeds for the win.
Winners: Reigns and Ambrose.
Post-match, Brock Lesnar walked down to the ring. This distracted Reigns and Ambrose, which allowed New Day to attack them from behind. Lesnar hit an F-5 to Ambrose. Reigns was outside the ring laying. Lesnar stood tall in the ring and walked to the back. This closes the show.
