1. Triple H and Shawn Michaels defeated Legacy. DX told us that it was snowing again and that we had to leave again. Funny. There was a funny spot when Hunter and Michaels pulled down DiBiase and Rhodes’ tights. The finish came after Hornswoggle interfered and hit Sweet Thigh Music on DiBiase and then Shawn nailed DiBiase with a Superkick and Triple H hit Rhodes with a Pedigree.

2. Chris Masters (w/Eve) defeated Carlito by submission. Decent match with a finish that came after Carlito got stuck on the ringpost and Masters locked in the Masterlock.

3. Yoshi Tatsu beat William Regal. Short match with Regal cutting a bad promo about being better than us. Tatsu entered, hit a few moves and pinned Regal with his kick in less than forty five seconds.

4. Evan Bourne pinned Chavo Guerrero. Hilarious moment when the kid in front me yelled “You suck Chavo!” and Chavo looked at the match and said “I’m awesome.” Funny. Bourne won after hitting AirBourne.

5. Mark Henry beat Jack Swagger by pinfall. Good match, with Swagget hitting two corner splashes. Henry won after catching Swagger with the WSS off of an irish wip rebound.

6. The Miz beat MVP to retain the U.S. Championship. The Miz cut a promo about being awesome. Miz kicked out of a sick nearfall when MVP hit him in the head with a big boot when Miz went off the top rope. Miz hit Skullcrushing Finale a short time later to get the pin.

Intermission.

7. The Bellas and Gail Kim beat Maryse, Jillian, and Alicia Fox with Santino Marella as the guest referee. Basic divas match, with Santino getting some comedy in. He got one of the Bellas and had her in a slam position and knocked over a bunch of divas. Kim got the win after hitting her foot facecrusher thing that doesn’t really have a name.

8. Randy Orton beat Kofi Kingston. Orton kicked out of an SOS and Kofi kicked out of an RKO. Orton set up the punt, Kofi dodged and went for Troible in Paradise, Orton dodged and nailed Kofi with the RKO. Easily the best match of the night.

9. John Cena defeated Sheamus by DQ in a WWE Championship match. Sheamus cut a promo saying that eight years ago, he was in the arena and saw Kevin Nash blow out his knee. He said that we were here to see him. Cena came out to a huge pop and said that he was here as just another fan and gave Justin Roberts some money and said that he was just another fan here to see Sheamus get his ass kicked.

Decent Cena match, Sheamus reversed an FU. Later, he hit a bicycle kick and threw the ref down. Cena locked in the STF and the ref DQ’d Sheamus. The fans popped big because they thought that Cena had become the Champ. After the match, Sheamus celebrated and Cena nailed him with an Attitude Adjustment. He celebrated as we left the arena.

Closing thoughts: Good show. Tons of Cena and DX merchandise and shirts. Very enjoyable, I guess that the third time was the charm. There were some crowded merchandise stands. They had some signed Cena stuff and a lot of shirts. I enjoyed the show a lot and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who has the chance. It was a major surprise to see Shawn Michaels appear. The bottom levels were almost completely full, with scattered people up top of the Wachovia Center.

Biggest Pops:
Cena
DGeneration X

Most heat:
Sheamus
The Miz
Legacy
William Regal
