According to their tweets, several thrilling matches are expected to unfold during the show. Initially, it was reported that JD McDonagh’s singles debut was scheduled for the event; however, plans seem to have changed, and a segment featuring McDonagh has been substituted instead. BWE also disclosed that the first draft for the show included Shinsuke Nakamura as the mystery partner for Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn in their battle against Imperium.
