WWE have reportedly fired Odyssey Jones.
Odyssey Jones appeared on Raw for the first time during an August episode of Raw, after being drafted to Raw the previous year. Since then, Odyssey Jones has been partnering up with Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston and became a mainstay of television.
Fans were shocked when Odyssey Jones was removed from WWE’s active roster list. Unlike the Wyatt Sicks, whose profiles are hidden but still accessible, Jones’ profile appeared to have been completely deleted. This development has surprised many, especially since Jones also missed this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw.
While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer talked about Odyssey Jones’ status with WWE following his removal from the roster. He mentioned that it hasn’t been officially confirmed but he believes Jones is no longer with the company. Meltzer noted that there are various rumors, but nothing has been confirmed yet.
“I am relatively certain he is done although it has not been confirmed anywhere. I heard a bunch of stories but nothing I would say is confirmed. It looks like he’s no longer with the company. He’s off, he’s gone. As part as the reason why? I think that will come out or whatever it is. Obviously he was in for a push. It was nothing to do with how he was getting over. There is probably a story that will come out in the next day or so. There are certainly a lot of rumors out but there is nothing I can confirm at this time.”
