R-Truth, a highly talented and entertaining WWE Superstar, has had a resurgence in his career in recent years. However, in November of last year, he suffered an injury during a match on NXT, where he sent his opponent Grayson Waller out of the ring for a diving spot but hit hard on the thin mat outside. The injury resulted in R-Truth needing surgery and being out of action for up to six months. In a recent live stream, R-Truth provided an update on his recovery, revealing that he might be returning to WWE sooner than expected due to an additional surgery needed to combat an infection.
He stated, “Yeah, I’m going back to WWE. I just got to heal up. I had to have two surgeries. A lot of people don’t know that. I caught an infection, so I had to have another surgery. So that set me back. Y’all know me, I’m coming back probably sooner than y’all think”
