WWE React To Ronda Rousey WrestleMania Rumor

When UFC star Ronda Rousey made his way to WWE back in 2018, many people took notice. Many fans were impressed with her overall run in the company and how quickly she got better inside the squared circle. Ronda Rousey’s first program in WWE saw her teaming up with Kurt Angle and squaring off against Triple H and Stephanie McMahon at WrestleMania 34.

Stephanie McMahon was the heel in the feud, a role which she has been for the majority of her WWE run. Stephanie McMahon recently spoke to Alicia Atout on her official YouTube channel about rumors regarding why she was Ronda’s WrestleMania opponent. During the interview, McMahon talked about her heel character in WWE.

She revealed that her father Vince McMahon was a huge influence on her, as he was touted as one of the best heels in the pro wrestling world.

“Ultimately, of course, the bad guy really never wins in the end. So, to be able to give that back to the audience. That was one of the reasons why I was one of the opponents for Ronda, because I was the biggest female heel at that time. Especially because of my power, putting profits over people, character and all this stuff. And Ronda could come and kick my butt on behalf of the locker room and everyone else watching.”
