We noted before how WWE announced a Fabulous Moolah Battle Royal for WrestleMania 34 during this week’ episode of Raw, but it appears that this revelation is not sitting well with fans.

Many people over various social media channels have taken their account to complain about the company dedicating the match to Moolah claiming that she doesn’t deserve the honor.

Below are some of the top tweets made by the fans on the matter:

For those unaware, Moolah had been a controversial figure during her time. Her wrestling school was the central figure of all the accusations against her which includes serious allegations like sexual exploitation of the women who joined her academy.

What are your thoughts on WWE dedicating the Women’s Battle Royal to Fabulous Moolah? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section

  • In Case You Didn’t Know…

Moolah made a career of holding down others and playing politics. She was every bit the politician that Hogan was, if not worse. Do you really think it was by coincidence that she held the Women’s title for 25 years. I can tell you right now, it had less to do with the fact that there were fewer women wrestlers and that title reigns lasted longer back then. She was no saint, not by a long shot. You can look her up on YouTube if you want to know about her sins.

  • Can’tGetNo…Stratusfaction

Moolah’s name has ALWAYS been tarnished outside of WWE’s whitewashed history. There are numerous firsthand accounts from women who trained and worked for Moolah about her unscrupulous behavior.

  • Nicholas Giambattista

I say it internet troll. Because I love the idea and for me I expect the Women of the WWE to put on a show at Wrestlemania 34.

  • Soulshroude

Try not to depend solely on “wikipedia” it’s clearly made and edited by and for the uneducated public.

  • Soulshroude

Agreed (aside from your comment being character damaging)… though, where’s the proof of the allegations?

  • Soulshroude

Any proof of these allegations? Or are these just “internet trolls” once again, trying to tarnish the name of a good person? All hail the evolution of the “women’s movement”.

  • Anutosh Bajpai

The post is centered around the backlash and not the allegation. I just mentioned the most serious claim to give an idea. This is no Wikipedia article and i can’t fit all the allegations into one post, if anybody is serious about knowing more he can easily head over and read more.

  • Omar

Time for WWE to also introduce a “Tammy Sytch role model” award

  • Arnold Jackson

It’s interesting that Anutosh once again only focuses on the sexual exploits of female athletes instead of mentioning how unfair Moolah was by taking a 35% cut of all the wrestlers she got booked to work. Of course the only way any woman got booked those days was through Moolah’s connections.

If Moolah can have one then so can Chyna and Miss Elizabeth
